I remember seeeing that ride in the old Bugs Bunny Land. They must have moved it there at some point, and I remember the lady bugs being in that spot across from the Orbit instead of these rockets. I know eventually they moved the lady bugs into the "newer" Bugs Bunny area, but they must have been across from the Orbit at one point.

Wonder what the real deal is, obviously this is a PR stunt, you don't just find a place called Banners in an Hour and have a banner of that size made up overnight (which may or may not violate the Village Of Gurnee sign/advertisement ordinance)

Wow never thought of that. You sure know your stuff! I sure hope Tiny gets "resurrected" and comes back next year!!
^ Roaring Rapids will be transformed in Wicked Woods and will be a haunted walk through from the station all of the way to where guests can spray you with water canons.

It's been drained. You walk through the path of the ride.

This will be cool but i wonder what they will do with the pipes that make the current? My daughter and i are ready to go. Also wondering about HH party it says 17 and up can i bring my kid in with me?
I assume the pipes will be covered with wood, or something so people don't walk on them. As for Fright Club, I would think that no one under 17 is going to be allowed in since it doesn't say "Under 17 allowed with Parent" ala MPAA.
But this is Six Flags, so who knows?
I won't be taking my 10 year old on the haunts until I check them out first (he's never been in a haunted house past Necropolis and Fright Fest scare actors for the last couple years) - I assume the normal ones should be fine. Hell, I wanna check the train out.

They undoubtably will be turning the water pipes off Not gonna have a lot of people paying to get doused with cold water and then sick.

The pipes are being removed. They will be reinstalled in the spring. During the week after Rapids closed, they had all the pipes marked with paint and marked the locations where each pipe goes.
Not only all that, but I can also assume that the water can create a water slippery hazard. Combine water everywhere on the ground with people running from terror/scare actors and you got yourself a lawsuit in the making.
I really hope Oct 25th (Thursday) is a well kept secret. I think I may go to the park that day and I really want it to be dead that day. That would be the best Fright Fest ever! Shh!!
I cannot wait for Fright Fest. I am getting tooo antsy...Im in Halloween mode already. My guts are trying not to spill out and my heart is racing haha. I can't wait Fright Fest will be here next weekend. I definitely will post on here how everything went next weekend! Mwahahahaha!!

You are a true fan, my friend. That, or completely insane
Video is kinda cool. Love how they showed little bits of how they created Wicked Woods. Wonder how long it took to drain all that water out and where does it all go? Im sure some of the SFGAm employees current or former can answer this one.
With all this talk of water Im pretty sure wicked woods would not be open when its pouring outside or else people will be slip and sliding all over the place I also hope its very well lit or else bodies will be tripping and falling all over the place Happy Holloween......
