Project 2013...just posted on Twitter and Facebook

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby xcheetaht on August 29th, 2012, 1:51 am
The brochures are behind Katy Enrique's face in the conference room, where someone videotapes.

It looks like people stand and look up in the sky or ride in a roller coaster or a thrill ride in front.
It has American Eagle layout, a blackbird plane that can be X-Flight, and something black in the lift hill that can be a roller coaster and people raise their hands in the air while riding it.

Obviously, it has a new park map 2013, but there's something added...

Hint: :o

I hope this helps a lot.
I cannot wait to hear from the announcer(s) of Six Flags Great America for tomorrow morning :D

Does anyone know if it will be announced right in the morning like last year?

Ok, we're 1 day away from the announcement, who wants to take a final guess as to what were going to receive? I'll go with a Disko Coaster and say I'll be insanely unhappy!

I've been thinking long and hard about this and I've gone back and forth. I think we'll get something, but I'm going to be unhappy.

I am going off the wall with no evidence to back this up at all. I am going to say a new and improved Giant Inverted Boomerang.....I can only hope

I'll go with an updated kid's section (I keep telling myself it won't be but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised), AE upgrades, or a new flat like a Sky Screamer. The reason I find it hard to guess a new thrilling flat ride is because they haven't posted enough clues pointing towards something large like the other parks have been doing as far as hype goes. Perhaps our PR just wants it to be a bigger surprise but we'll see shortly.

EDIT: Going back to my last post two pages back, I take back what I said. I thought we would have posted more clues and hints in the last week but there haven't been any to hype us up like I thought.
Top 3 Steel Coasters: 1. The Incredible Hulk 2. Maverick 3. Dragon Challenge (Fireball)

Top 3 Wood Coasters: 1. The Beast 2. American Eagle (Red) 3. Hades

A Sky Streamer would be totally lame to me! Of course its gonna be a Inverted Boomerang... NOT! As much as i miss Deja Vu :( I hold out no hope for ever getting any time of boomerang ever again. However, The New CEO has made it very clearly that Our Park is the Cash Cow, and its time to please the Thrill Seekers... So we shall see! Nothing is impossible!

Putting King Chaos inside of Pictorium and using its old site for a Luminosity type of show at night.

"Don’t you hate when your printer jams? This one looks like it was in the process of printing something interesting… Do you think it could be for tomorrow?"

Here's the new clue. It looks like a new show to me

This really boosts the Luminosity knock-off theory.

The bottom photo either looks like a night time aerial view of a city grid like Chicago with skyscrapers in the back or a concert stage lit up with seating in front of it. I have no clue...

HINT:
While I was talking to a ride op who's home unit is Camp Cartoon and they told me that they were about to go get trained for another ride. I asked them if they knew why and they said that when Camp closes early this year, everyone is getting sent to different rides, much like the Iron Wolf situation last year... They said they didn't know why it was closing early but their supervisor told them so... hmmm
Has anyone thought about them doing anything with the Wilderness Theatre? Just an idea.
EDIT: Also, this last clue doesn't necessarily mean anything... They could just be trying to throw us off!

If Six Flags showed a picture of a Poodle, would you still scream "Sky Screamer?"

I guess i wouldn't mind a Screamer, but only if it gets a height variance approval to be taller! You call can wait in the long line for that and shorten the lines for the other rides for me. Swings and such do nothing for me, even that high up.

From their Twitter
"In less than 24 hours #GreatAmerica2013 will break loose from the crate! Ready?"
Makes me think it will be some type of ride themed to an animal or at least named to an animal due to the break loose part.

^That is an interesting theory. Could be...could not...

My guess: A show, possibly something with fireworks, new flat in Hometown Square, and/or kids area rehab.

Looks like's either a new firework show, SkyScreamer, or both. Hopefully the later.

Interesting news, about Aunt Martha's chicken also, in 2013 it's being remodeled to a "JB's Barbeque". Like the one at SFNE. They're supposed to be pretty tasty!
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2.
Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel)
