I'd hope that because it is in the first few weeks (around the time that parks are often understaffed) they won't bother. The handful of times I've encountered seat assignments I used them as suggestions. Hasn't ever been a problem. I'm always willing to wait extra for the row I want anyway.
^ From what I'm seeing from my Facebook friends, they're doing more commercial shooting with employees. I'm guessing they're using red train for on-ride footage and black train for off-ride footage. They probably don't want red train in the off-ride footage because the first car's shell is missing for the camera mounts.

I think its possible. If they do I usually say OK and go to whatever row I want haha
Ok, this is a lot to read through, so if this is a reposted question, I'm sorry. I just purchased my season pass online today. I will therefor have a voucher with me on May 13th when I go. Can I still get in with that voucher, then go to season pass processing and have my pass printed out to get on X-Flight? Or did I already have to have that done last season just to get into the park on the 13th!?

Your voucher is good for one ride on X-Flight. After your first ride, you have to take your voucher and get it processed into a physical card. Then, you can ride X-Flight for the rest of the day!

Thanks! I didn't want to drive 3.5hrs just to have them tell me at the gate that I can't get in!

Long.
I'll be happy if I get 2-3 rides in the exclusive ride time tomorrow morning and maybe one more.
We might get 4 or 5 if we are still infront of the genral public when they swarm that ride at 10 am. Then we got one for our exit pass, but I think we'll save that for a night ride.
GP can't ride til next Wednesday, tomorrow and sunday it's season pass holders only. I still have to imagine it's going to have a somewhat lengthy line, but probably a lot shorter than the line once it does open for the GP.

My dad knows people who work at sfgam and they told him they went to a meeting and the Xtreme passes were brought up about if there are alot bout the ERT wont be worth it. My dad was told from his friend they were selling only 250 of these Xtreme passes but from what ive heard with people calling guest realitions They sold ALOT but not as much as expected and also they are worried about the ERT for these Xtreme passes will be packed to where youll probaly get to ride it once. I hope they only sold like 250 but highly doubt that it went over probally by alot so you get lucky if youll get 2 or 3 in tomorrow. I hope that there hardly is a line and i get in aleast 5 in the ERT
I'm curious to see the non-season pass holder's responses to the ride NOT being open for them. Could be a non-issue. I think it's a very bad move by the park, but that's just my opinion. Just curious to hear about it...
I'm thinking with all the season pass holders that the park has it will still be packed for X-Flight, I'm going Sunday so if anybody goes Saturday please inform us.

Nick,
the ride will be still only for Season pass holders on Sunday as well, so could be pretty packed.
And Burton, I had heard that they only sold enough of the xtreme passes to cover 1 hour capacity on the X Flight ride, so by really rough math
32 people per car x 2 cars = 64 people on the ride at any one time
each ride takes 2:30 (approximately), if the second car goes when the other is halfway through the ride, full ride time is about 4:15 (give or take.
Let's be friendly and say loading / unloading takes 2 minutes per car. So we are looking at about 7 minutes for a full 2 car cycle
64 people x 7 minute ride (we'll round up and say 9 rides an hour) = 576 riders
So they could sell 576 xtreme passes, and cut it off.
I will gladly take my 1 ride gaurentee in the 9:00 am ERT, and be happy. Then take my night ride later in the day as well.
Anything more then the 2 rides is gravy, icing, whatever pleasurable idiom you wanna use.
It's all speculation anyways unless we have a board member / director here.

Let's not forget all the single seats that will be going out empty. I remember all singles being paired up on Demon when it was new; it is possible, but I would be surprised to see the park strive (or even try a bit) to do that.

True.
For the ERT, I would like to thing there won't be any shyness in riding with someone you don't know. I know I won't be
