Hey guys, so I have been lucky enough to take part of a Six Flags commercial of X Flight! Rode X Flight multiple times in many different rows. I have to say, I am very impressed with the ride. The second part of the ride is VERY intense, the helix is OMFG, felt like Superman pretzel, I've got sucked in my seat. The ride is amazing, I have read many review of how wing riders tend to be, but X Flight felt like Batman with wings. My personal favorite is... The yellow support with mists twist- seriously what a feeling! The ride feels very different depending where you sit. If you want to feel like "hanging" go to the front, if you want to feel like pulled with force thru the track, go to the back. Row 5 feels like Raging Bull force, so if you like RB back row, you will like row 5.
That's me in orange, waiting to get on the back row. Seats are very comfortable The first drop Very clever, very unique, I won't spoil lol Thru the mists Onto the corkscrew Thru the tunel ^^ This is my FAVORITE part of the ride. It's the OMFG moment. The most intense helix on B&M that I can think of to be honest. It's so intense it makes the train shakes. Top of the train

Given it a few mins of thought, and I can't think of any good way to ask this.... so I'll just be blunt. Myself and some other people I know, along with I'm sure some other's on this board, and who will also be at media day are of the larger variety.. Were both of you able to fit without any real assistance? Same goes for anyone else there, see anyone get turned down? I heard quite a few stories of quite "normal" sized people being turned away in Italy.

Looks cool. So are there bins you can put your stuff in while you ride?
Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.
So from this review it would seem to me that this is a very different ride compared to the others since those have gotten the "just ok" reviews and people saying they just feel like a forceless coaster to them. I'm even more excited now and can not wait!!
Great review and pictures! What was it like going through the key-hole? Was it something that made the ride better or didn't do much to it? Same questions for the hange- I mean cut out.

I had the same concern myself. A friend of mine who rode Wild Eagle (he is about the same size as me) told me I will have no problem *fitting* on the ride
Ok, so let me start up with the "big shoulder guests". I don't see any problem, because the "bars are very high off away from the rest of your body, and the gray "padding" is connected to a seat belt that runs inside the seat cover behind you, so you can pull the padding more forward, or back. I wished I had a picture of the front row, so you would know what I mean. I saw one big guy, he didn't have any porblems getting on it. Btw the harnesses are air compressed, no more clicks.
There is no bins at this time, I am pretty sure there will be added very soon, and they could be forward to the station, since there is room there.
The keyhole was fun, it added some fun factor, the yellow support is the beast. It's the hanging-force-rape-speed-throw type of experience lol.
There are things on this coaster you will not experience anywhere else. I think people will love that ride for this. I can't give away a lot, I want you guys to feel it, and when you do, you will exactly know what I am talking about. For me personally this ride will be a hit, as for today I prefer this ride over RB and it's now my favorite roller coaster in the park.

Still cant believe you were callin me off the hook at work...shoulda answered, coulda had the chance to go with you ass! haha Thanks for tryin to tell me though. Im glad you had a great time! Love the pics & the review!
I have a question to you that would help even more determine the ride experience. Have you been on Raptor, Goliath (SFOG), Hydra, or Firehawk / X-Flight / Batwing? The one part (OMG moment) sounds like Hydra JoJo Roll or maybe Firehawk / X-Flight Batwing when you are turning over so much, and the helix is so intense sounds like Raptor or maybe Goliath (SFOG). Can you compare any of these rides (if you have been on any) to X-Flight?

I agree!!! Can't wait! This will be a long week and the short drive on saturday morning will be a long one!! Thank you TK for the detailed review and not ruining the hightlights of the ride!!!
I have not been to any of the rides mentioned^ lol
I did leave a lot of surprises, it's better to experience it yourself. Me personally love the ride.
The floor in the station is all concrete, it reminds me of V2, you have to jump up to get in the seat, and then the seat "swallows" you in, like RB seats, they are at the angle.
Now that I have ridden in many different rows, when I be at the park on Saturday, it will make me smile seeing people in line, saying "it's slow"... Haha B^#%# just wait LOL

^Oh, ok. Reading it back what I wrote above "Firehawk / X-Flight Batwing," that sounds sort of dumb because this new B&M ride is called X-Flight, but Six Flags Ohio had a ride called X-Flight. Than Cedar Fair bought the park, a little later they sold it, and than sent it to Kings Island, and called it Firehawk. That X-Flight / Firehawk is a Vekoma Flyer. Batwing is I think the same (I have been on both of these, but are they clones. I would have to look at rcdb. Seem like it to me.) , but it's at Six Flags America. Sorry, I just wanted to clarify that. Another Cedar Fair park has one more of these flyer rides - maybe Carowinds.

It's interesting that all of your favorite parts of the ride are low-altitude elements! All this time we've been complaining about how slow it is through the early inversions, but I guess we've underestimated the fly-throughs and helix!
I'm personally very happy you gave good marks to the helix, I was really looking forward to some force at the end of the ride.

I'm 5'8'' 270 lbs, and I fit on Wild Eagle just fine. Only complaint I had with that was that was that the seatbelt between your legs tends to make it uncomfortable, after about 20 rides in 1 day. I also noticed that rows 4 and 6 (I think) had longer belts and more accommodating to larger riders. Not sure if this is the case on X-Flight.
Very nice TK, I can't wait to ride this. Hopefully I'll be there Saturday.
Hehe well each inversion is unique, and I like every one of them, I just don't want to spoil things, and yeah... you will see guys lol. I mentioned only the second part of the ride, because I was really surprised the most about it. Especially about the helix. The best way is to have low impression about the ride, so you would be surprised.

What seat would you recommend to feel like "its pulling you" kinda like a whip? and what seat was it where you felt like being on the pretzel loop on Superman? Thanks for sharing this! you made me more excited for this saturday!!!!!!
