We knew the que was going through the control tower

I was saying that incase somebody didn't and that they are actually doing it and that you could
see the queue line.

With all of their inconcistancy, he's just stating something that WILL happen. The keyhole looks freaking awesome and can't wait to see the trains with the covers on.

Is the last and only picture of the control tower the finished product, or is it still being built?

Wild Eagle has that gate so no one falls off the platform while boarding. Since X-Flight goes straight to the lift, there is no drop-off, and no need for a gate.

I like how they're not elaborate or flashy, they're just a simple plane style cover.

Some really cool sort of red light, or strip lighting on the trains would have been nice.. but I know, this is Six Flags...

Train #2 started its testing about 15 minutes ago. Shouldn't be long until both trains run at the same time. :D

EDIT: Both trains are running now.

I wonder if they will have a timer display like what Raging Bull has?

I seriously doubt that they would put the timer on it. Load/unload time are going to take long enough no need to give the people who have been waiting in line further perception that loading the ride is going to take forever, at Bull it should be loaded very quickly so its a different story.

No idea on the landscaping but I'd guess it will either be mostly grass or gravel.

As for the water dummies, I don't think any have heads for the most part. Legs I think just depend on the model, but most park don't use the lower leg attachments as they really don't do anything. The main thing the dummies accomplish is to get the train up to a normal operating weight. Alot of parks just use bags of lead or corn strapped into seats.

If you're thinking clearances, that's what tape measures are for :D

The majority of the ride area will be seeded grass like Superman was. So for the first few weeks, it will be mostly dirt.

How many times does each train have to run the full circuit during testing before it can have real people on it?
I would imagine it's more for a new ride then something like Bull after they put the trains back on....

Also, couldn't the water dummies also be testing the restraints? I'm sure they couldn't just fly open, but it is a new ride, and mistakes could occur.

honestly and very technically.... Once, after that employees can hop on.

As far as GP goes it's something like 50-100 times before it gets it's sticker from the state.

For existing rides, it is 50 cycles for each coaster train and 25 cycles for each flat ride. I don't know about new rides requirements.

It's probably between 75-100 times on new rides as far as testing goes to open for the GP. Probably next week we may see actual workers hopping on.

Train #1 has already run well over 100 times. Train #2 has only run 14 cycles.
