The funny thing is people are probably going to buy this because they think they will be the first people on X-Flight because of the ERT on the 12th before the park opens but they wont because it will open May 5th.

Seems a little steep but I'm in. I think SFGA is going to make alot of money off me this year. Any word on the meal deal?

It does seem for that price, they could add in a few more perks. Either way though, if I end up still living in Illinois this season, I'll upgrade.

I wonder how many people are going to dish out $130 more just to ride X-Flight early for one day.

I'm not gonna buy it. If a parking pass was included in it maybe but none of that seems like it's worth the money. That's just my opinion on it.

I would hope they do other ERT's. As it is the exit passes and express lane is a nice touch. I agree that other perks would be helpful.

My son and I might get it. I wanna work the numbers to see if there's any savings, or just the ability for the small numbers of ERT with a small amount of people.

Plus, as to the post I quoted, I could see Six Flags not opening the ride until the ERT for the public just to make this a little more "exclusive"...

if I was a marketing looney that's what I would do...

Does anyone happen to know if the exit passes need to be used on the day they were given? If I go early in the season when the lines are short and get a pass, can I use the pass when I go back in the summer with long lines?

I have an exit pass from last year and there is nothing on it that says anything about needing to be used on that day - same as the free beverage coupons.

Now they might be giving a new exit pass, but one would assume that it would be the same one they have a bazillion of printed already :)

Sport Bottle = $15.00
$5 attractions including Sky Trail, Go Karts and Fright Fest Haunted Houses (Massacre Medical Center, Studio 13 and Mausoleum of Terror) $5x10 = $50
Two Bring-A-Friend Free tickets valid any regular operating day = $80
Two exclusive ride events: X Flight on May 12 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and Raging Bull on May 19 from
8:30 – 9:30 p.m.
One free picnic meal during each holiday weekend: Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day = $36
Free Hurricane Harbor tube rentals — one tube per day per pass, no deposit required = $8

Total = 189.00

Now I added tax on some of these things since that's the real cost we pay, and some of it is pure estimation (like $40 a pop on tickets since online is like 38.xx).

But it would appear that if you were to hit each thing at a minimum once, it would be a good deal.

But you don't start doin the picnics, or not doing the attractions listed for $5 - and it falls a part quick. I really hope the ERT's listed aren't it, because that would sorta suck, but you gotta figure they aren't going to announce all of them.

For the exit passes, I would have to assume they will have new ones printed up, probably with a place to put the date on it, or else people, especially locals are going to stockpile them, even go to the park, get a pass and leave every day if they live or work close enough to the park, then in the last 2 months of the season it'd be a real cluster with people with stacks and stacks of em, along with the issue of people selling them on ebay and the like.

I guess the only thing I see worthwhile out of this stuff is the one ride exit pass each visit, but if they just offered that, maybe I would pay an extra $15 at most.

Xtreme Pass Benefits:

Xpress entrance to the theme park during peak times (10 a.m. – noon daily) -:An extra 5 min isn't going to kill me.
Xpress entrance to Hurricane Harbor during peak times (11 a.m. – noon daily)-:I usually arrive a later anyway on purpose.
One ride eXit pass each visit valid for any one ride-: As I said this is my favorite perk
Sport Bottle-: Carrying around a bottle in which on every ride someone might steal is not something I care about. Plus, I'm not really into soda to begin with.

$5 attractions including Sky Trail, Go Karts and Fright Fest Haunted Houses (Massacre Medical Center, Studio 13 and Mausoleum of Terror):- Have never done any of these attractions at the park. Don't care.
Two Bring-A-Friend Free tickets valid any regular operating day:- Similar perks are usually in the book even though it's specific dates, but oh well.
Two exclusive ride events: X Flight on May 12 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and Raging Bull on May 19 from
8:30 – 9:30 p.m.:- I think I will get enough rides on X-Flight that I don't need to do a private event. And Raging Bull, I don't care for.
One free picnic meal during each holiday weekend:- Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day:- Fourth of July I don't go to the park. For Memorial Day, Boston Market has a really good deal, so I rather go there. And for Memorial Day, and Labor Day, to me it's better just to go on an old fashioned picnic. Throw the football around, play a board game or to, sit in a lounge chair, and have some hamburgers or bratwarst. However, For a day like Labor Day for instance, I rather go to the park that day, and the non-Labor day go to the picnic. A picnic on Labor Day at the forest preserve is going to be twice as crowded as if you were going there the day before, so to me it's better to not celebrate on the actual day in regards to forest preserve picnics. You could have a picnic in your backyard, but to me it feels different.

Free Hurricane Harbor tube rentals — one tube per day per pass, no deposit required:- It's not a bad perk, but the bad thing about it is that you have no protection from theives. You leave your tube down somewhere to go on the Tornado, but than someone steals it because the tube is just laying around. And if you have someone to watch it, you are going to go constantly back and forth to get your tube. It's not bad, but it's not that great. Plus, these other water slides I think are going to have Flash Pass: These would probably be Tornado, 2 "Family Raft Slides, and the 2 newer slides they just put in. To me, though the Tornado and the Family Raft Slides are the slides that will take the longest because of the lines. So, I rather get a Fastpass than a tube.

So, for me it's a resounding NO to this.

Called and spoke with a very nice CSR, and she found out that the Exit passes are good for that day only, for the person only.

Also, she wouldn't tell me how many extreme passes are being sold but said it's extremely limited.

She also stated that future ERT's would be announced via email.

^You still would be the 100th person to ride it. Does it matter really? It's only 1 band that would win this thing. It's all about marketing - this band competition thing. The real reason they are doing this is NOT because the park is just interested in only one band, but I know their whole strategy is to send it to all these schools that their is a band competition, and the winner will win a X-Flight ride. (if this is true from what your saying) The motive of Six Flags is that all these band students are going to talk with their friends about X-Flight, and their friends are going to talk more about X-Flight, so now all the high-schools are informed about the new ride.

I said band, but I don't know what competition it is. They are smart in going after their market by having a competition about it.

^ It has nothing to do with band, and the winning school gets a trip for the whole student body, so you'd be way later than the 100th rider.

yah its got nothing to do with a band....the whole highschool will get to go and there is most def more than 100 people that go to a hs more like 800-2000 if not more so its just disappointing to see them doing that when we wont even be anywhere near the 1st 100 riders

You wouldn't be anyways, just about everyone at the park will have ridden it with most of the construction crew. Then media day is another 100-200 people depending on who all they invite. Not like it really matters in the end.

I've been to coaster openings, been one of the first 100 public riders on Dark Knight, and on the 2nd to last train on Iron Wolf. It's cool at the time, but the next day it doesn't really matter. Who cares as long as you get to ride it? If you have money to spend, you can be the first to ride other coasters. Wild Eagle had something going and the first seats were going for around $700. Does it really matter to you that much to make it on there before everyone else?

Not to mention the season passes this year are getting a little expensive with all the add-ons:
Season pass (single): ~$75.00
Parking: $70.00
Meal: $60.00
Extreme pass (if already a pass holder): $130.00

Total: $335.00

Not to mention the deal with adding an Extreme pass to your existing season pass is BS. It will cost a few dollars more to do it that way, but the offer for Extreme passes wasn't announced until after season pass sales started. I'm not getting one anyway, so I guess it doesn't make a difference for me.

All that added up is $20 more than a discount Morey Piers Season pass, and you can only spend 3 hours in one of their waterparks per day and of course as to be expected in Wildwood.... No Parking. Of course the $315 Moreys Pass is a sale, after April 13 it goes up to it's usual $400 or so.

Also to anyone doing it, drop the text talk, besides being against the forum rules, it's extremely childish and a pain in the butt to try and read.
