Do you guys think X-Flight will be able to run 2 trains? If so, at what point do you think the first train will be at when they dispatch the second train

It will run 2 trains. If it is the same as the other 2 train B&Ms, the earliest they'd be allowed to send it is when the previous train reaches the first set of brakes. Though due to the nature of the ride's loading and unloading, plus the extremely short seatbelts, they will probably be stacking most of the time.

Why will there be seat belts? I thought this was the same restraint system used on Superman and it does not have seat belts.

The restraint itself is similar to the B&M Flying Coaster restraint, but the locking mechanism is different. On the flying coasters, the restraint latches into the armrests. On the Wing Coasters, the restraint locks like a normal B&M OTSR, and therefore has the seatbelt.

On the webcam it looks like a small bridge over the track in the front of the station. This could either be for the staff, or for passengers to get from one side to the other. What do you guys think?

^ That bridge will be for employees only. The booth in the center will be the Operator Booth.

Since it appears they are finished or almost finished with the last helix, I'm sure we will see the first set of brakes being put up shortly. The station is coming along nicely by the way and the booth over the track adds a nice change.

^ The placement of the Operator Booth is pretty much by necessity since the operator needs to have a clear view of the entire platform. All B&M Wing Coasters have the operator booth in that location.

^I realize that since it wouldn't work to have it on one side and not the other. I'm just saying it adds a bit of an unique "touch" so to speak from your everyday looking station.

i was looking at six flags park map illustration for x flight and saw two white lines leading up to both sides of the station do you think that:
a. there will be two separate lines for left and right side as well as exits to go back
b. one main queue leading to the station branching off by the station then one main exit going back as seen from the right

^The one leading to that (gift store) building is the exit. It should be like American Eagle where it will split once it gets close to the station.

EDIT: If you follow the path that starts at the giant X on the ground, you will see that behind the control tower it splits into two leading to either side of the station.

if you look on the track in the station you can see the device they use to measure the distance for the trains. just pointing that out!

If they do it like X2 is done, a crew member will be at the split in the queue counting, and directing people to each side evenly. For the first couple of seasons, I don't expect a lot of leniency in regard to allowing riders to choose sides during high rider volume. I've been on X2 17 times in 3 years and have only ever been allowed to ride on the left. They've never let me choose or listened to my requests for the other side.
Record is 1994. 57 visits. I'm still bruised.

The station will be like X2's where it splits to two sides and loads each side of the train. The part above it will likely be where the ride is dispatched by the head ride op.
Sort of a lame video, but gives you a decent idea of what X2 is like.

That's something I brought up about 10 pages or more ago that they might use a counter (clicker) and let 16 people on one side and 16 on the other. That way everything runs smoothly and the distribution is even. I only see them doing that the first few years though.

Have the flyer type of locking mechanisms been removed to save on weight? Or possibly to improve reliability? Those are the only reasons I can think of.

How about they haven't been removed because it's not a flyer? Seems obvious to me the locking mechanisms are on flyers due to the weight of the rider being on the restraint the entire ride. This isn't a flyer so why would it have flyer restraints? Probably just an updated more comfortable OTSR that happens to be similar to a flyers.

From Hank Salemi is that the trains are expected to be assembled in late March and begin testing in early April.
