Has anyone here done a VIP tour?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hi, I've been looking for information on the Six Flags VIP tour and found this site. I'm wondering if anyone here has done it? We are very interested as we only go once a year and think it would be great to have such access to the rides. The price is a bit steep, but between gas, food, and time spent in lines, it seems like a good deal.

Is it really "front of the line"? or do you get some kind of special flash pass? Does it include every ride or just some of the rides like flash pass does? What about the Dare Devil Dive and the other stuff that you have to pay extra for? Is that included too? That would be awesome. I'd ride Dare Devil Dive all day I could.

Thanks in advance.

There was a trip report or post about it on here in the last year. From what I remember you get a VIP tour guide that takes you to the front of the line. The person who wrote the review also mentioned doing the Go Karts, but not sure about Dare Devil Dive. I know there was a period you had to wait before taking a 2nd ride on something (might be 15 minutes.)

If you're in it just for the rides, I'd go with a platinum Flash Pass.....There is no limit on how many times you can reserve in a row and you can ride twice.

VIP Tours give you access to instant rides (But only once ever # of minutes)
Front row seats to shows
unlimited food/drink

It's on page 3 of trip reports and titled July 10th the VIP experience, by black dynamite.

Thanks. From the trip report, it seems like it was a great time. I also called Six Flags and spoke to them. They are offering different tiered packages this year. 4 hour, 6 hour, and all day tours. I think we are going to do the all day tour. They are also offering all you can play games this year. This could be the first time I win anything.

My friends and I are planning a VIP tour for this year. Would going on a Saturday in July be best or would Fright Fest be a better time. The park is packed during those days so either would be good I guess. We are looking more toward Fright Fest. Anybody have ideas of some sort? It could help us out a little. :D

Well A VIP tour gives you access to all shows, and there are quite a few during Fright Fest, although, I'm not exactly sure how a VIP tour works with the Haunted Trails.

Talked to the VIP rep at Six Flags today to book the tour. I'm excited. We booked the top tier tour. Everything is included,... Go-Karts, Dare Devil Dive, front of the line on rides, games and food. It even includes a private cabana in the water park and surfing lessons on the surf simulator. We get a guide from open to close. We can be in the Glow in the Park parade too if we choose. It's like renting the park to yourself for the day.

I've heard a lot of grumbling from people when we've used Flash Pass over the years. I can only imagine what we'll hear as we get on from the exit gate.
