In 2006 my buddies dad got 13 tickets for Merc Night. Its when the mercantile exchange rents out the park for the night. Its actually pretty fun only a couple hundred people were there. But now here doesn't work there anymore since the business is bad.I will right a review about the night under trip forum :)

Isn't that normally on a Friday night in September? That event is a typical crowd, from what I remember it's not any less busy than it normally would be at that time of year, not worth the $ for the extra ticket if you already have a season pass. There are never a "couple hundred" people there on that night there is normally 10,000+.

True, but September in general is not crowded, which is why I don't think it's worth it if you have a SP. But if you got the tickets for free it's an obvious choice. I don't remember much about the event other than that is a day for a lot of younger to middle aged men hanging out or taking their kids to the park (aka a lot of alcohol sales).

Yeah lots of little kids there you know. Parents come home with free tickets and then just take there kids to six flags for a couple of hours. The park was open to 11:00 that day so kids were leaving around 9:00 that's when the lines became dead :)
