Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one. No one really bothers me about it, they're usually like "You went HOW MANY times this year?" and stuff.

I'm one of 3 coaster enthusiasts that I know at my school. One of them is Sic Coaster Kid. Then there is another one who only comes to this site for news and is not on the forums. His name is JoeDejavu1988.

I go to Grayslake high school but my cousin goes to the WTHS Almond Campus. I have like 5 friends that love SFGAm and get season passes, but they're not obsessed like me.

I used to go to Oak Lawn High School, I graduated from there 2 years ago. My brother (Sic Coaster Kid) currently goes there. There is also somebody who was on these forums awhile ago (I think his name was Jeff something) he went to Oak Lawn High School and actually worked with my cousin and my brothers friend at the Hilton.

There's a few wanna-be's at my school, but I proved them wrong about everything. I have to be the Coaster KING at my high school! No but seriously, most people think it's pretty cool that it's my hobby. I'm like the main source if people get into an argument about coasters or something, they come and ask me. It's strange that my physics teacher thought he knew everything about roller coasters (the ones at GAm at least) and I correct half the things he would talk about. But other than that, no one really cares what I do, so it's not a big deal to anyone. It's funny because this is the first year people have asked me what new rides we're getting next year, since I'm allways the first to tell them when I find out.

for those of you who go to Warren HS, can you see the rollercoasters from the windows at school? I know when I go to compete at Warren in the winter for swimming, you can see the rides from the parking lot. If you can, that has to be awesome! I'd be daydreaming even more than I already do in school!!!

I'm not the only one at my school. I've turned some people into coaster freaks too.

It does get annoying. Friends allways say stuff like rollercoaster freak and start off imitating me by saying "and the maximumvelocityofemcsquared by 4gs at 300ft tall..." whenevr I say something smart. And to answer your question coaster swim girl, i go to woodland middle school and you can see stt, giant drop, american eagle, v2, deja vu, and rb from my lunch room. Warren has split campusses, but when you are in the parking lot for the 0'plane campus you can see the tops of all the rides over 150 ft tall. And by the way, change the name of the topic, I'm not a dork 8) .

We'll Da Rcman2001 turned me into a "unoficial coaster enthusiasts" since that is all we talked about back in the day, that and cars pretty much. But now we just talk about our sexy woman in our life. lol

We'll last year I used to be in the same lunch room as David (Da Rcman2001) and all saw was the Giant Drop, Sky Trek and a little Raging Bull but thats it. But on the third floor of the school I can pretty much see the whole park, and i not try to make you feel bad its the truth i'll take a picture. lol

Woodland Middle School on Almond Rd. I is the biggest middle school in the US. The third floor is like some 6th grade classes and health classes. But I will be going to Warren next year. :)

Yeah, I'm the only coaster freak in my school. Hinsdale South High School. And it sucks, it's hard to find anyone to take to sfgam. I don't even use coaster terminology. My school is letting a bunch of clubs go to SFGAm in the begining of the season so maybe I can "convert" people.

How do we NOT know we go to the biggest? Drive by it for shit sake. ITS HUGE. It takes for ever to get around in. You can also see it from stt. I'm not sure about studentwise, but it has the most square feet of indoor walking space. You could probibly fit alot of schools in our gym, but maybe thats an axageration. It has 7 or 8 gyms, and enough cafiteria seats for 900 people at once. Theres around 3000 students.

I know that there are schools (Jr Highs) with more than 3,000 students. Our high school has 5 gyms (One huge w/ 3 regulation basketball courts) and an indoor track, yet it isn't that big.

I'm not about to line up 2,300 kids and ask them if they are coaster enthusiasts.....but I do not know of any regulars at SFGAm except me (SFGAm Shock Wave goes to the rival school though).
