Why Did Great America Get Rid Of the old raging bull sign

Why Did Great America Get Rid Of the old raging bull sign?
I know this is kinda old and that new sign just looks plain ugly lol. But seriously why did they :?:

My best guess is that since the ride and sign were being featured in the Food Network broadcast that year they wanted the sign to display the rides logo since it's more recognizable. But it could be any reason, including the sign shop had nothing better to do.

The old sign did look really faded. I'm not a fan of the new one but it makes sense.
