Are they bringing back the Funatics Rewards?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

That was the best part of last season. 5 visits, 5 pretty awesome rewards.

I haven't seen or heard anything confirming this was back. Anyone know?

The only think I've seen is them pushing the "In the Loop" deal as a way to stay informed. Seems to see what Funatics partially was.

Yeah, Funatics is done with. I believe there will be similar perks for season pass holders through out the season to compensate for the loss.

The rewards for FUNatics had an expiration date on them. I'm hoping whatever "rewards" we get, if anything, do not expire for a while. I had a free parking pass and never got to use it because I forgot about it and by the time I remembered to print it out, it had expired. :x Same goes with the skip the line reward. Hopefully the "rewards" this year are better, more useful and convenient and don't expire...at least for a longer time.

^My finance had that same issue as her pass from SFOG. We were planning on hitting the park twice within 10 days in late March/early April. She got her reward the day of the first visit and it expired at the end of the month, which was 3 days away.

Thankfully SF STL had major issues with their system and I got my rewards twice from the park. Once at guest relations and once the next day after they all came through e-mails. Best 4 free drinks I ever had.

The expiration date gives people incentive to come back to the park to redeem it.

^That it did, but the fact they went off months and not a period of time like 2 weeks was poor planning on their part.

Yeah, the amount of time given to redeem the rewards (which was a while) can make a lot of people forget that they even had a reward. haha.

It wasn't mentioned so I wouldn't count on Funatics coming back.

If it was it would be advertised with the Season Passes.

LOL, yeah I had the same issue...in fact I dont think I redeemed ANY of the 5 rewards because they all passed their expiration dates (even though I still went back to the park before the expiration date)..

I just simply forgot to print off the coupons or use them...

I do regret not using the 20% off season pass coupon..

Mine were only valid at a park 300 miles away from me, and due to the new draconian parking pass regulations, the final 20% off season pass offer was utterly useless to me, as I would have had to pay the difference between the SFStL season pass and a SFGAm season pass(which the SFGAm person said on the phone was a "favor", then on top of that pay the $70 for a SFGAm parking pass. I can't repeat here what I told her on the phone, but suffice to say I don't/won't have a SFGAm pass this year.
