Sixflags.com has revamped their website and it now includes the new Slogan "GO BIG, GO SIX FLAGS!"
There are some differences you'll notice right away. 1) Looney Toons are almost gone from the site, you'll see them in photos here and there. 2) Animations have been stripped from the "Tickets" button. 3) New tabs on the top of the National homepage makes it easier to find things like corporate information and Six Flags Media Networks -> http://www.sixflags.com/national/median ... index.html
I also found it strange that one of SFGAmworlds wallpapers has made it's way into the Six Flags Media Networks Slideshow.....
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
New color scheme looks nice and flows much better. I also like they are going the route of mentioning nearby Six Flags parks, even if they are 6 hours away.
The biggest problem of the site is still there: It's impossible to find info without it becoming a game of Where's Waldo. It it that hard to allow drop downs for things like guest service, the Flash Pass or park hours?

There have been some of the pics from this site on SF's website before, I think they do Google image searches for some of the pics on their website. Also we've randomly found some pictures a friend of mine took and posted to his Flikr on SFGAm's media relations website before. Also i'm pretty sure the rendering video of Great Adventure's Green Lantern was fan made in No Limits.
^So was the new Texas Giant. The bad part is that the No Limits version of Green Lantern looks too bright. I have my own recreation of it that's a little more accurate.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
That wouldn't be a problem if they compensated those people for taking their work. I think their philosophy on that though may be, "Why work hard at taking our own pictures and paying professionals to make this stuff for us when fans will often spend hours putting meticulous detail into their stuff for a lot less?"
Seriously though, those people should be compensated if it wasn't originally posted to a Six Flags site. Like one time I submitted a picture to one of their FB contests and that allows them to use the image whenever they want for whatever they want without giving me anymore knowledge of that. That particular picture won and they used it as their FB profile picture for a little while a few seasons ago. Not sure if it's come up in any other documents for the park. Anyway, if people aren't rightly compensated for their work, then this should end up like 4chan v Hot Topic when Hot Topic stole rage guy.
