I personally like this idea. I mean, we are all wasting money on xmas gifts and other stuff, etc that Im all out of money by the end of the year anyway. This is real convenient and I can save up money till March 1st!

One thing I noticed is something they always advertise in their season passes which Im hoping they accidentally forgot: They forgot to mention Frightfest! lol. I think Im just overreacting here. I dont wanna make a big fuss already about Frightfest 2011, just wanted to put out some info on next years season passes. Here ya go guys!

Seasons Greetings! xoxoxoxoxoxo

Looks like a good portion of the events SFGAm is having in 2011 are up in the events tab of SFGAm's official website. Maybe these can sway everyone's opinion to get a flash pass now lol. Where is Frightfest in the list of events?? lol

what makes you sad?

I know its still waaaay toooo early to be jumping the gun about Frightfest. I am a frightfest fanatic, I mean my avatar and username are highly influenced by frightfest lol. I am happiest during frightfest. :D But they usually have frightfest posted, when else can they have frightfest aside from its usual fridays-sundays in october? IDK lol. I'm too worried about this. Info should be posted soon. :)

Now that the Xmas deal is gone, it officially costs just over $82 for an individual season pass including tax. A 4-pack costs about $85/person! Everyone might as well get their own individual passes just to save a couple of bucks. I went online and found subtotals for individual and group passes and did the math. Yeah, you would save a couple of dollars if you bought your own. :)

^The family 4 pack is 10 bucks cheaper each pass.

To those worried about Fright Fest, when you try to buy an SP online it says Fright Fest is included with your pass.

My main question is how much is a SP parking there?

EDIT: Apparently parking is still $70 for just Great America.

Yeah season parking is $70 for the year. For those who have never gotten season parking here is how it works: They put a code on 1 season pass only. If you want to use the season parking pass then the person who has the code on their season pass must be in the car. You can't take someone else's season pass and use it for the season parking pass if that person isn't in the car. :(

But anyways, parking is now $20 to park either in the back parking lot or the front part. They do not open the the back lot until the front starts to get crowded. Thats how it was the last 2 times I went last season in 2010. You must pay $20, there are no other options and must park in the front until it gets crowded and they open the back lot.

I think they make more money this way because I'm sure most people would park in the back to save $10, before when it was $25 to park in the front and $15 for the back. Everyone must pay $20 either way. Plus traffic could be directed easier for security, just direct all parking to the front as opposed to making 2 lanes, one for premium parking and one for back lot parking.

Also, yeah I saw how it says the season pass grants you entry to Frightfest. It does not have it posted yet in the events tab of SFGAm's official website though. Hmmm...may Six Flags is gonna try this year to make Frightfest a separate upcharge?? IDK. Either that or they still haven't decided on the dates for Frightfest yet. I'm sure that's whats happening. Within time the dates will be posted, I'm sure it won't be an upcharge...hopefully...

^They would have a lot of angry passholders who were told that Fright Fest was included and then taken away.

Now that the holiday deal is gone they are offering a payment plan to get your 2011 season pass. They are giving everyone the chance to make 3 easy payments to get you pass. I'm sure you must have all three payments paid for by the time the season starts.

Do we really live in a world where people are so irresponsible with their money that they need to work out a payment plan for an $80 amusement park pass?? This is beyond sad.

Well a family of 5 equals $325 if using the 64.99 discount for 4 or more or maybe a 14 year old girl can make the payments easily because she is too young for a regular job. I'm just stating that there are more situations than just one person having to make payments on an $80 dollar pass. At least they don't charge interest.

Or people get to keep more money in an account with interest for a longer period of time. It's why all 3 of my Orlando park passes are on payment.

Do we really live in a world where people are so selfish that they don't understand that not everyone can afford to drop a lot of money for an amusement park pass :?: :?:

That season pass sweepstakes winner will be selected on or around May 15th. What about those who already have a season pass or want to go opening day and have to buy a pass on or before opening day??

I guess that season pass payment plan ends friday night and it works I guess for only the 4 pack of season passes. It's $21.67 per pass when bought in a 4-pack plus tax and an online service fee. See! The small fine print is ALWAYS hidden. :x
