Fright Fest 2010!

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Viper 88 on October 22nd, 2010, 9:08 pm
I'm glad the park will be closing next week. I had some business and I had to go through Gurnee into Wisconsin and seeing it last weekend when it was in the 80's was absolute torture, it literally was my own personal hell on Earth, this year really did blow, not one trip. And looking forward to something cool for next year was even blown to crap with the HH expansion, I would have rather had older amusement rides or a cool coaster but what r u gonna do right? Hopefully next year I will be getting there. *sigh another 6 months of torture ahead, anyone know when they open for 2011??

Monsters in almost every area.
Seven sins has voodoo dolls voodoo masters.
Carnevil of doom(mardi gras) has classic circus.
Yankee harbor had pirates.
Necropolis has good monsters.
By iron wolf there were werewolves and vampires.
Tinseltown terror had actors mostly by studio 13/area 51.
Demon had 3 demons looked good.
Hometown square had zombies.
Yeah it was good . But i think they should have a mayor slayor in necropolis

GOOD JOB SIX FLAGS GREAT AMERICA :)

I noticed, I'm sorry if I sounded rude about your LAFF tape. I wasn't trying to. They did come out very well, all of your videos did. I didn't see the Witch Doctor yesterday, I saw him in parade but didn't see him out. I saw the 3 dolls but didn't see the other two.

Yep. I hear ya. The next 6 months are gonna drag sooooo looong. Nothing to do but just stay inside because of the cold weather. I hate cold weather. Fall is nice though. I cannot wait till opening day in 2011. V2 will be up and running again and the weather will be awesome warm again. Although my favorite part of SFGAm is Fright Fest. After sunday I will be :( I am going this weekend no matter what. Friday and Sunday or just saturday or just sunday on Halloween! And I am not forgetting my funnel cake! My last funnel cake sundae till probably April.

Hey thanks for the amazingly awesome satisfying videos. Now I got something to watch to keep me sane over the winter and get my SFGAM dose. I can also show to all of those Fright Fest skeptics just how good it is. Thanks man, keep up the great vids! Hope to see a lot more in the future. You got a subscriber now! :D

Been enjoying reading lots of posts on here, happy to be a new member! I got my season pass a few weeks ago and made the mistake of going the Sunday before Columbus day (holy bejesus) then lucked out with crowds this past Friday (also got to hit St. Louis Sunday and rode Evel Knievel, Mr. Freeze, and The Boss all within 1.5 hours ) I was really hoping to get one more visit in and was wondering what crowds are usually like on actual Halloween Sunday?

I thought FF was amazing this year. I loved having scareactors back in Hometown, those guys were great. The only thing that really needed to be changed was the Area 51 walkthrough. The rest of the park looked spectacular. I loved the Ghost Train with the light in the tunnel, but the gates didn't go down last weekend. I'm guessing they're suppose to but I guess they weren't working. Anyways, I was glad I got to go this year. Now I have to wait 6 months of pure torture till next season.....what am I gonna do with myself?

In your Zombie Jamboree video, that was like the 2nd time I had seen the green demon to tell someone to back off from taking pictures. My friend took a video of a kid in a white shirt trying to I guess either hug or take a picture of him and he told him to back off.

In one of the videos you have, you say "There's the Demons, the black one, the green one, and the orange one". Well, I always think of her as an Avatar lady, but orange instead of blue. Even though I don't really care about the scare-actors (I care more about the decorations.), I would say for me the best ones would be that Avatar lady, and Chewbecca.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"

Yeah this year's Fright Fest I will never forget. It was honestly the best in my life. All the actors without a doubt did a phenomenal job. My favorites were the vampires. I have been fascinated with Vampires since I was about 8 or 9 yrs old. I managed to get a picture with one of the vampires. I saved it to my computer from my camera. I really really wanna frame it. It the best picture I have ever taken in my life and will treasure it forever. Thank you Mr. vampire, for letting me take the greatest picture with you. I hope ur back at Fright Fest next year. Thanks again! :D
