Most economical way to approach coasters for fright fest

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Economical, meaning time-wise. We're going on the 8th, when the park is only open six hours. We're going to flash pass it - but we dont want to be walking back and forth around the park to different coasters when we could just hit them all in a good order.

We wont be hitting Iron Wolf, so there's not much need to be in that section of the park. Should we just start at Superman and work our way over to the Eagle - or vice-versa?

Superman and Ragin Cajun's Lines will be much Slower than Bull's, Eagle's, Demons, or Vipers.

Your going on a Friday...you will not need to worry about lines. Don't buy the flash pass as it won't do you any good. Everything is usually walk ons any Friday you go. Last year I went every Friday and mostly every day I could ride every coaster in about 2 hours, especially since we were there at opening.

Well, that's good to know. You guys just saved my group $236 dollars if the flash pass isnt needed that night.

I figured the park would be packed, and we wouldnt be able to get on anything without it.

The thing is that Six Flags in my opinion really should be charging half price for Friday nights because for the amount of hours you are getting it's not that many, and you can say all about the football games which there are many, but people rather go on a 12 hour day and night than a 6 hour night, and for either night or day, you are paying the same price. With the half off price thing though, if they did it now, it would be ridiculously cheap to get in ($17.50 about only), and that's not a good idea unless they stop discounting like mad. A reasonable price in my opinion would be $46 for a full day with discounts, and $23 for Friday nights. I just would think its' a lot of season pass holders that come because of the hours which really isn't helping the park.

^They have to charge the same because they need to make up the money they loose for even being open on a Friday. Usually the only people who go on Fridays are pass holders. I don't think charging 50% off would bring in twice as many ticket buyers to make up for the difference.

Im sure hoping that the park will not be crowded Fridays. I know that some people only stay during the day when its Frightfest, due to how scary the park gets after sunset when the monsters and ghouls come out. Never been to Frightfest on a friday. This makes my hopes go up. Im going this Saturday when it opens! Cannot wait! Even my signature says it all lmao :D
