Well Holiday World just won Cleanest Park in the World in the Golden Ticket Awards :) Haha Six Flags shouldn't use that anymore.

They've never claimed that they won a Golden Ticket...

The thing with saying cleanest theme park in the world is that they could say well 10 people think that, and use it as so without anyone going after them. For Hurricane Harbor, you have the same thing with people saying it's the best waterpark in the nation, but what has our Hurricane Harbor really won (award)?

There was something I heard about people looking into deceptive advertising. It's like Pizza Hut's deceptive advertising. They said any pizza, any size was $10, but yet if you look at the fine print which most people won't read because the commercial goes off way too fast, and the text is so small, it said you will charged extra for stuffed crust pizza. I guess stuffed crust pizza doesn't count as pizza than. Right? I would love this law to get passed to stop tricking people into stuff like that. Now for Pizza Hut, it's we lowered our prices. Sure, in fine print is it going to say from 2 years ago prices. For Old Country Buffet, they have it $10 for night, but they don't say oh well, we took away the drinks, and now you have to pay for anything besides water (Icee, soft drinks, coffee).

I guess the Old County Buffet thing isn't totally deceptive, but it's just annoying to me. For Boston Market what they did is, that they said they lowered their prices, and for $6 you get no sides, and than to get the sides you wanted before, you would have to pay $1 for each. So, it came out I think to something like $8. They raised prices by tricking people like they were getting more than they were. Now, they reverted the prices back to how they were, but it just was terrible to me that they were raising prices and tricking people to think that it was actually cheaper than what it was.

Golden Tickets has as much validity as asking ten guest what is the cleanest theme park in the world.

Holiday World has won this the past few years, yet Six Flags rolled out this ad campaign anyway.
