SFGAm to announce 2011 addition on September 1st

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby CoastsToCoasters on August 31st, 2010, 8:08 pm
I'm not gonna complain...yet. & even if I AM disappointed, I always have a backbone with Great America, stickin up for them at all costs cause I love the park. SFGAm is my home away from home. I may not like the direction they have chosen in the past, but you bet when I was there the other day I was playin in the water structure in WigglesWorld bein the only adult there! ;) haha

Do I want another major rollercoaster to set us apart? Hell yeah! Especially after readin Galvans post on the major coaster issue, Capacity help from B&M is perfect & needed. BUT if we get just this "simple" rumored 130ft tall waterslide, ill be there to try it out even if it doesn't fully satisfy my/our wants for the park currently :)

If six flags has anymore stupidity they will take down raging bull at the end of 2011 and make room for a bigger expansion to HH. *Sarcasm*

That really doesn't make any sense putting a value on Raging Bull comparing it to another water park expansion. Raging Bull has profit value that can't be measured. If they announced last chance to ride on Raging Bull next year like they did for Whizzer 8 years ago, the outcry would be much larger I can assure you.

As of now a 1300 foot expansion could happen. I mean according to their facebook page as of right now, the ad says something featured as well, which is in fact the near-vertical water slide. Thats the second part to the add. I wonder what the first part says. It has numbers on it. So 1300 foot expansion is a good possibility. And maybe finally a separate entrance to HH, so the park doesn't get crowded with HH people. If thats the case, then I will be happy with the addition of a separate entrance then! Yes! :) At least something good came out of this. Maybe charge people in either park en extra $20 to get into the other park. I mean $20 isn't bad at all. Plus I don't wanna see revealing swim outfits and tools  walking around populating the park with their douchebagery thinking they're all that. :x

WTF??? How the heck can you say that Raging Bull makes a profit? Everyone pays a fee to ride as much as they want and the profit is not for any specific coaster. Surely you have been to SFGAM, but you don't pay at the entrance of each coaster to get on. WTH? :? How did you deduce that questionable comment?

Are you too young to understand how a business works? Lets say you like to eat chicken, and you go to McDonalds frequently...would you go as often if McDonalds stopped serving Chicken Nuggets or the Mc Chicken?

SFOG gets a Euro Fighter. This company is getting smarter with rides they are putting in. Good job Six Flags! Too bad they are getting dumber in the undervalueing season pass market. Lowest price in 20 years for season passes for our park.

1300 sq. feet would be the size of a pool.

130,000 sq. feet, though is about 3 acres. 13,000 is about .25 acres
