Oh, yeah. Shapiro probably already bought these coasters a while ago. You never know, maybe were getting GADVs dive machine?
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2.
Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel)

I think today (8/24) was yet another reason why SFGAm needs another high capacity coaster.

While the park was not at all packed, The waits for most of the coasters where 45 minutes plus. The most notable exception believe it or not was Raging Bull which was under 15 minutes the whole day.

All the low capacity rides had huge lines Monday too! American Eagle 1 train was a 30 minute wait at 11 o clock in the morning and Viper which has ok capacity was 60 minutes at lunchtime! Even some of the flat rides later in the day had pretty big lines, Orbit looked like it had a 2 or 3 cycle wait and normaly I walk on that ride on some of the more crowded days!

I can assure you that that was never, ever happening.

I've been hearing that an announcement will be made next week. I've also heard that 2011 will probably not be an all out celebration like the 45th anniversary was. I don't know about you but I was expecting parades and shows like Shapiro said. But thats probably not happening.

We're going to most likely see some new coasters, hopefully for GAm and thats probably it.

Hey how about a new coaster so the park can be extra crowded. And while that ensues, lets add heat and humidity, and long food lines and nowhere to sit. Wow. Sounds like a good combo to me. New coaster soon?? No thanks. Pass. Next!

Raging Giant, your post makes no sense..

What do you want them to annmounce, that next season their going to only let 2,000 people in a day, and their building an air conditioned dome over the entire park?

That seems like the only solution to your "statement"

^ I am just saying that I wouldn't like to see a new coaster in the near future. We have plenty of coasters compared to other parks. And yes, as you can tell by my post I easily get annoyed by the weather and long lines, which Im sure the normal person would agree with. Oh and hey why don't you that "solution" of yours and do something about it. Propose it to the park and see where it gets ya. I really would like to know. Respect my opinion in the future.

Even though a new coaster would bring in some extra people, you are probably forgetting that a new ride will disperse people away from other rides and to the new ride. Adding an extra ride can ease up lines on other rides. I think it could only be a benefit, not a detraction.

Wow. Makes sense. See, thats what I like to hear. Straight to the point, simple and easy and no detection of put-downs. Thank you. That makes my hopes go up. :) Thanks wishman35 :)
