I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I love that they suggest the souvenir cups (which require the $1) locker and staying at Key Lime Cove (which cost more then any area hotel) to save $15.

I definitely would have added something about going to Burger King, Subway, or Jimmy Johns for lunch...

Two things - They say eat light. When you eat light, won't you be hungry during the day, and that's never good when you have hot weather, and people walking around miles and miles? For the souvenir cape, DON'T buy it. I bought one, and the back part of it tears it's self to shreds. It's all sticker, and I don't have the sticker on it anymore!

And if you are going to buy the season pass, why not just buy the season pass online before you buy a regular ticket? Is it more money after you buy a ticket, and than upgrade?

Dont buy a souvenir cup at all. You can find them lying around the park abandoned or thrown away. Take it home, wash it and bring it back and use it and then if you lose it, it is no big deal, and get refills for a buck or better yet with funatics get free refills for a day which we did 5 times this year. There is no reason to buy one when they are discarded all over the park. There is little reason to spend any money in the park if you dont want too.

If you go to some of them while your buying food, they won't ask you for the wristband, just, "What drink?"

The fact that those souvineer cups sell so well is a perfect example of how clueless people can be. Whenever it is hot out, soda sales skyrocket. I never understood why would anyone want to drink soda when it is blazing hot out, that is quite possibly the worst thing you can do as it dehydrates you and just makes you want to buy more. I'd reccomend going to the stands around the park that have fountain drinks and asking for a cup of water.

There are a plentiful amount of water fountains in the park by the bathrooms, and one by IW near the train station.

I agree 100% with that. You just have to watch where the water is from at each park. Some like SFOG and Alabama Adventure use water from what they clean dishes with. Others like SF Great America and WDW use purified water.

Duh! Almost all of those things they mentioned are common sense! Im always flippin through my season pass value book while im in line waiting to get on a ride. So if I see a coupon I like while waiting in line, I'll remember to use it when I purchase food. Also, the water thing is so easy, I mean theres water fountains everywhere! The walk to the station may stink or you may be desperate for water, but you can easily save $$ if you avoid sodas. Especially because the sugar in sodas make you dehydrated and more thirsty anyway. Try carbonated water if you're lookin for a healthy alternative. It still gives you that bubbly feel in your throat that soda also gives you. Also, make the trip across the street to Burger King, Jimmy Johns, Subway, Ihop, McDonalds. Theres also a pizza place and a strip mall of restaurants across the street. You may be tired as hell, but again, the trip will save you big $$. I mean, $15 for a slice of pizza, crappy waffle fries and non-refillable drinks?? C'mon! If you bring that souvenir cup, ur gonna have to pay to store it in a locker everytime before you even get in line for a ride. They will make you put it away or not allow you to bring it on the ride. I had to store a small prize I won in a locker. It is only $1 but that can quickly add up. Oh! This wont save you money but now that Im suggesting things, might as well put it out there. If you ever get a migraine/headache, the thing that works best definitely is an energy drink with some tylenol liquid gel caps or excedrin. Man, that headache goes away after an hour! Its crazy fast. And theres also something I use called Dramamine. Those are motion-sickness pills. They work also. Though they are strong so if you get a serious case of motion sickness maybe take 2 then. Hope this helps everyone and good luck to all!! :D

My wife uses the dramamine - she seems to get car sick.

Liquid gels and an energy drink take an hour to kick in? Seems regular aspirin take about an hour. I usually take a couple before getting into the park. Some of the harder rides have given me a headache in the past - so this takes care of it beforehand.

I use that remedy for my own migraines. Thats the only way I'll get rid of em. Ibuprofen and aspirin will not cut it for me. I've used them both and I still have migraines the rest of the day. Aspirin has worked in the past but not anymore. When I used it it took 2-3 hours to kick in anyway. I need the strong stuff.
