^I agree 100% with the last part. It is amazing how smooth the ride is and perfect for just about anyone.

You know something, if Viper were a little bigger, and a little faster, I think it could really win #1 in my heart. But it is a very close #3. (:

Maybe they could replace the lift hill motor while they are at it too. ;)

What are you talking about? The ride is like one of the smoothest wooden roller coasters I've ever been on. It's so smooth that I just don't care for it anymore.

In these polls, there are just some coasters that are never going to be on top of the list because of the type of coasters they are. You say one train coaster, and enthusiasts are going to rank it down no matter what because it's not a full circuit such as Deja Vu, Invertigo, Mr. Freeze, V2, and what not. I would rather see a poll based on type to tell you the truth because a ride like Riddler's Revenge doesn't have chance to be up in the poll because it's a standup coaster. You notice what's near the top, and a lot of it are the rides with airtime like the Mega Coasters, Giga Coasters, and whatnot. To me, I guess I'm more of an inversion person than a non-inversion person.

Except after it rains and the coaster sounds like a dying cat.

It can be a little bumpy in the back, maybe that's just cause I rode it a bunch a times in a row in the back lol

When it's humid, or rainy, the wood sort of expands, and will cause the wheels to screech, and the ride will in turn be a bit more bumpy.

Anyone who thinks Viper is rough and needs retracking surely hasn't ridden any other wood coasters outside SFGAm. Go ride Zeus and tell me Viper needs work! lol

Cedar Point's wooden coaster lineup is not very good. Mean Streak is the worst wooden roller coaster i've been on and Gemini's final helix is very rough! Those are some rides that need to be retracked! Viper is very smooth and Eagle is a fun ride with a few bumps here and there.

^Gemini is a wooden structure, but it's really a steel roller coaster. I really like that helix.

I forgot that it was a hybrid roller coaster, I like Gemini because it's always a walk on :D and it has some good air time.

Blue Streak at Cedar Point is a good solid woodie. Relatively smooth, good air, and rerideable, except after eating. I tried that once. Not good. :(

Fiiiinalllly! A post I agree with you on. Yes! Viper is so compact and slower than American Eagle. Its not #3 for me, but would def been higher on my list if that were the case. :)
