Make me over a coaster

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

How do you know? Have you see the trains exit the property? Have you been in the maintenance building? How can you be positive they left? There is no rush for them to move those trains to SFGAdv yet. It's not like the coaster is built already. Those trains will leave when that track in the back will leave most likely as those trains probably came on the track with that truck.

For make me over a coaster, I rather have another roller coaster than just change a roller coaster we have already.

I do believe that they will make it bigger than advertising it around the park considering this is the big 50th anniversary, half way to a hundread all of the country. If anything I do hope they add theming to Raging Bull (though I would rather see a new Iron Wolf :p)
Last Visit, American Eagle BACKWARDS 5 times in a row right before the park closed. I cannot WAIT to go back for Fright Fest!

^Man, if anything needs to be done is a paint job on Superman. Looking at the ride from Condor is an embarrassment. It's the first thing guest see and ultra popular yet it looks like it was at SFKK for 10 years without paint.

A couple of things if you come into Washington Street the first things you see are AE and RB but walking through the park it is one of the first thing you see. Second i think it looks fine except if your right under the track the yellow railings make it look bad. I think American Eagle's wood and then Iron Wolf should be top prioty for painting

Iron Wolf should have been repainted years ago.

It was repainted years ago, 01 or 02 or so. It's barely even faded, not sure why everyone thinks it need to be repainted. It's supposed to look exactly like it does now.

Eagle needs fresh paint. Iron Wolf should get new cars but not Stand Up. Making it a floorless would be sweet. Or if you are doing stand up make restraints as nice as Superman's are. Also Batman should be rethemed with Dark Knight/Batman Returns theme'ing. They also need some better airflow in the station and tight hallway into the station on Batman.

Vertical Velocity (V2) should be T2 aka Tidal Wave 2 and they should install Tidal Wave style themeing and chase lights.

The THEME Park really needs more Themeing. Six Flags is sadly moving towards being an amusement park and not a Theme Park.

I know not a coaster but I'd love for whenever they rehab/replace Yankee Clipper and Loggers Run to make them better themed I'd love to have something Pirates of the Caribbean like but of course themed for their sections of the park.

Also Roaring Rapids needs something done with that cave. years ago i remember it being decorated. could use some animatronic things attacking you/shooting water at you or something like that.

That post gave me some good laughs.

Why would you convert a 20 year old coaster that is apparently being welded constantly. Hahaha! T2?!?!

This reminds me of my earlier self.

Batman holds historic value, it's not changing.

Something I appreciated about Burke and his management, is that when a ride gets old. They wait a year, remove it, and replace it the following season. They don't wait 4+ years and into new management to replace a ride. in my opinion Kieran Burke was when the company prospered. If they just didn't buy parks every couple days, I think we would still have Burke right now.

^ Burke was the reason the company floundered

Wow, 14 Coasters at one park and people still just complain and complain.

Yeah theres so many things I would like to see get redone such as American Eagle cars get repainted, Batman music to come back instead of that techno pop crap, Demon actually have smoke and scary music again, Raging Bull get western theming as originally planned, or V2 have the brake fixed. But personally I think they should save the money and get a new ride. Get rid of Iron Wolf finally and get a new ride! Theming a ride is the thing I least worry about any ride. As long as the ride is awesome, who cares about what theme it is?
