SFGAm Coaster question

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby TwistedSTEEL666 on July 28th, 2010, 10:40 am
Hey guys and gals, I got one question.

You know how Demon is always barren at night right before the park closes? Allowing you to ride it over and over again without having to wait in any line?

Are there any other roller coasters that are as barren and empty as Demon right before closing?
...Or is Demon the only one?

First of all, yes, Whizzer and American Eagle are. And second of all, not trying to be a moderator here, but we have a topic called "The Official Questions/Ideas" you can ask these questions in there next time.

But those are the only coasters I know of as being empty.

V2 is usually too. I have gotten around 12 rides in the last hour before park closing on busy days. Oh and Iron Wolf too... But that should not be a surprise. :P

The ESPN commercial wasn't that bad they had. That's a generic commercial though for all Six Flags parks. It was more like ride the biggest coasters, and check out our highly rated waterparks, and whatnot. I would just be glad though if they get rid of those opening parts where people do stupid stuff, and they say 2 flags for them.

Pretty much all the coasters have no lines right before the park closes. The only two I can think of that may have a line are Raging Bull and Superman.
Can't live without Coasters!!!

By making this statement, you are doing exactly what you weren't trying to do in the first place.

Line length varies from day to day but the coasters mentioned are your best bets. Also there is an IPhone application out there called "Ride Hopper" that gives wait times based on data from people in the park. Im not sure how accurate it is, but it will at least give you an Idea.
