It seems that reports from the other forums related to Gadv are stating that GASM is up and running on this fine day of July 2nd. One member posted that they talked to members of park maintenance and they stated that GASM will be up for July but is still scheduled for removal probably some time starting in August. I am taking this info as just a rumor as I can't imagine maintenance staff discussing plans with park guests but for now the ride is still running.

This is all bullshit. They were 100% sure it was July 1st the ride was in operation one last time. Now August then September then one more season. This was all so full of holes. I did not believe it anyway.

^ You know, to tell you the truth, I never really hated the guy. I hated some of his practices in the industry, but I never had anything against him. I do know where Weber is coming from, because Shapiro did neglect parks. Our park being one of them. But GADV wasn't, so I don't see why Weber would want Chang at GADV.

Anywho, I find this entire thing humorous, because if you look at the great adventure forums they were all so sure that it was going to close that they were planning special trips saying prayers, then it's like, "nevermind it's next month."

This is still GASM's last year. If you find the right person at the park to talk to they will tell you. The outrage on the Facebook page kept it open a little longer. It didn't make sense to close the patriotic coaster before July 4. Chang is still going to GAdv. Carry on.

Where's the proof. Not he said she said. Before I believe I need names of who released that information, and where. This "oh its still going to happen but next week" is ridiculous. When I see the construction crews ripping gasm down I'll believe it, until then the whole thing is a damn rumor.

Something is up with this park. You don't say garbage like this to people: "It's a waste of time to keep commenting on rumors...we only announce when things are 100 percent accurate. It's like last season when people kept asking about Ka."

Typical PR people are like we can't talk about it - we can't talk about any future attractions or removals from the park. This guy is like; stop mentioning it.

More proof that its leaving. The third train is no where to be seen. Its done forever. You guys are just in denial, thats whats funny. Why do you even want a second stand-up. Face it people, its going to GAdv.

You guys have been spoiled to. You've gotten something every single year. Either its big or small, its still something. Stop being whiners. It makes you guys look bad. GASM is leaving. Its closing sometime this Summer. You can ask anyone who works the ride or some other people, they will tell you that its the last season.
