With little dipper below BTR it actually will give a good view from the drop instead of a non- operational net climb.

Little Dipper's sign was missing? Vandalism possibly?

Beats me, but all of it was gone including the supports. They just put 2 cones over the footers.

Random thought, but it seemed like the info sign was in the way of Little Dipper's neon signs interrupting the view. Perhaps their moving it? Maybe getting rid of the typos (if there were any)?

Not sure where they would move it to. The way the ride was put in does not leave a lot of options. Then again, I'm not even sure why they needed a sign with the Neon.

The bottom part of the sign is back as of today. The logo top part is still missing.

That is extremely odd. I can't see why they would take down the sign, and just put it back up. Maybe they didn't want it to be damaged in the storm? haha idk lol

There was a typo saying that the Little Dipper Closed in Spring 2009.... September is not Spring.
*That was corrected.

I don't understand what they did though. I mean, did they order a new sign, or id they find a way to cover it?

They probably just put a blue sticky strip that corrected it like on some other signs.

I did see a small line, or crease, so that's probably it.

I'm surprised that no one posted anything on this yet.

Today marks the end for Kiddieland, as bulldozers and wrecking balls now move onto the site to raze the remaining structures.

Here are a few links that I found today.

Costco is scheduled to open on the site in November of this year.

Gone. Just. Like. That. And I never even saw how it looked. So in 4 months they will put up and open a Costco?

May only be up/free for a few days, but there was an article in the Tribune Today focusing on where some of the rides have gone with updates on the Bumper Cars, Carousel and some other stuff.

The forgot about the Polyp (In my opinion, the best ride) that went to Lake Winnie! And the Tornado went to A&P Enterprise Shows.

Mushroom Ride also went to Lake Winnie. It's not all that thorough of an article, but is it good to hear about some of the other stuff that has been a mystery like the carousels and road sign.

The really cool part about this is they used the ride on the front of their brochures at rest areas. I was driving through TN and saw it before I knew the ride there. One of those deals where you wonder if driving for 12 hours on no sleep is starting to have an effect on you or not
