Twickets

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I am trying to find out if I can get twickets for a 3rd day visit.

Lets say I visit the park on Monday, and get twickets that day to use for Tuesday. Can I get Twickets for Wednesday as well?

I emailed Six Flags and was told this:

Twickets are available on the day of your initial visit before you leave the park, at Guest Relations. They are all individually priced at $19.99 each and may be used any operating day through October 31st, 2010. One Twicket per Guest present is allowed.

I am guessing that I could not get twickets on Tuesady for Wednesday, believing that procedure may require them to see a "that day" ticket to let the customer get a twicket. is this true?

How about if I get my twickets on Monday for Tueday, remove the stapled twicket, go back later that day, get another twicket. Could I use the unstapled twicket for Tuesday, and then the 2nd on Wednsday? If I remember correctly they staple the twicket to the original ticket.

Would I be able to get in with an unstapled twicket? is my memory incorrect about the procedure, or is it that they take the original ticket when I purchase the twicket?

I don't want to try this, and it not work, and lose $80, cause I am doing this for 4 people.

A regular general admission ticket is $54.99. Add on $20 for a twicket, your already at $74.99 which just happens to be the same price as a season pass! After that, you can come back as many times as you want, and not pay a dime. Just get the pass. Plain and simple.

You can also use a season pass in any Six Flags Park.

I appreciate your response. But it was an answer to a question I didn't ask. You didn't consider that I might get into Six Flags for 42 cents, or some other cheaper price on day one. Anyways, Six Flags answered a 2nd request by me with this:

Guests may purchase a Twicket to visit another day regardless of the type of ticket they had to enter the park initially, so yes, you can purchase a Twicket even if you've entered the park that day on a Twicket.

Just buy passes instead. I saw this in the park and thought why would anyone do that since you're now spending the same amount you would on a pass. With the pass, if you ever have any inkling to ever go back to the park this season, you can and it won't cost you any additional money. Let's face it, there will be some time when you feel like going back or some other group of friends is going and you'll want to go.

The twicket seems to be from years ago when park admission and passes were a little more expensive and were just a way to coax you back into the park for another day for not much more admission. The low prices of passes seemed to have made this obsolete. The only downside to buying a pass is that you'll have to get it processed and wait in line at processing.

Please reread my last post. It is NOT the same price, if day one ticket is cheaper. What if I get in for 42 cents? then your idea is no longer a better deal.

I appreciate your response, but that was not my question. thanks tho.

We're just trying to be helpful by suggesting that IF you we're to re-visit, it's better to get a season-pass.

Yes, you can buy twickets for your 3rd day!!

All you have to do is go to the Pass Processing Center with the people who need twickets for the 3rd day and buy them (If you need 4 twickets make sure you have those 4 people with you so you can buy them).
You can buy twickets everyday you go for any other day.

A twicket is good any other one day until 10/31/10. You could buy today and use it on 10/31/10 (your 3rd visit) and would be fine.

Now I can see what people on here are saying about buying a Season Pass. But I also see your point. It is and always will be up to you and your guests what you feel is the better deal. No one can make you buy a Season Pass.

Hope that helps you with your original question.

Wow I did not know about this.

The signs at the park say you need a admission receipt to get a twicket.

Wait, hold on a sec...

You actually need the receipt from your initially bought ticket for a Twicket?
