Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
So does anyone know why it is close to $50 to upgrade from a 1 day ticket to a season pass, but only costs 65 to get a season pass originally? I just think it's a horrible rip off. Smart, but sneaky
Let's see... 12 days til colonoscopy (appt got moved :D ) No school today :D

If you get a season pass at the gate, it says that it's $64.99. But if you decide to upgrade at a season pass processing unit, it costs an extra $45-50 (I don't remember the real price) ADDED to the ticket. It's not really that important, I was just wondering if it was just six flags' way of getting some extra money.

So just buy the season pass at the gate. No big deal. My thinking would be people go to the gate see: General Admission = $54.99 Season Pass = $ 64.99 Id hope that people who are going to the park would say "Hey, thats a helluva deal..... I think I'll spend $10 and get a season pass, on the off chance I make it to SFGam or ANY SF park for that matter again.

Not so much a way to get extra money more of a punishment for not planning ahead.

I dont think Six Flags really depends on tickets for money, the realy profit is from the $7 churros and $20 funnel cakes.[ Post made via Mobile Device ]

The season passes are priced low so SF can get a decent amount of cash up front even before the season starts. Yes, the money maker for any amusement park company is in-park-cap-ex spending.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
