Employee Transportation?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Яeverse on April 29th, 2010, 3:57 pm
I read some other topics on employee transportation, but I was a little confused because I read a bunch of different answers for the same question.

I'm scheduled for an interview in Food Services next week, and I live around 20 miles directly south of Gurnee and SFGAm. Where's the nearest place I can get transportation to the park if I am hired?

Thanks in advance.

You might want to talk to Human Resources as they'd be your best option for transportation information. If you do find something out, please share with the site as Im sure it could be useful for other people :)

Ok I've got an interview next week so I'll ask then, and I'll post what they say. :)

There is employee transportation from Chicago.
There is a employee bus that picks up employees at the Cumberland Blue Line Station in Chicago.

Not sure if live in or near Chicago but that is one bus. I know that is another but not sure where the pick up and drop off is.

If you want employee transportation see HR that is where you get your info and have to sign paper work so they can deduct it from your check!

^He's asking for transportation to his interview. He can't use the employee buses until he's actually employed.

There are tons of routes that can get you there. I always had my friend take me out there though, So honestly, I am of no help, sorry.

Actually, I'm asking for transportation to and from work if I'm hired. I can get to my interview fine, I was just wondering about any bus or anything that I can use if I'm employed.

Well, I don't know where 20 miles south of Gurnee would be exactly, but I as it was mentioned before, Six Flags can provide bus transport from CTA Blue Line Station "Cumberland"

I actually went looking and i found three that work best

1) Pace bus 565 from Rosemont to Gurnee mills.

2) Metra to Waukegan and a pace bus from that to the park

or
3) Six flags express pace bus from Rosemont to the front gate. ( doesnt start till july)

You really should provide the town you live in as that would help more for people to give you the info you need.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

well i attempted to do this today and well..their is only one bus that goes from Rosemont to the park and thats the express six flags bus. that doesnt start till next mounth. the only way with out a car is to take a Metra to Waukegan and a pace bus from that to the park. Thats it. there is no other way.
