The Scenic Railway usually doesn't run until the full season begins, when the park opens weekdays.

Staffing is the main reason.

Isn't staffing also why Giant Drop only operates three cars?

^^ Giant Drop ran all cars for part of yesterday, but dropped to 3 because crowds didn't justify running all 6 cars.

Are you sure? Because when I got to giant drop one of the cars was stuck at the top with people on it, and the ride was closed for a good half hour. And when I came back giant drop was open and the car that was stuck earlier wasnt operating. I think thats why they decided to run only 3 cars.

Let's get back to the Scenic Railway, yeah it usually opens around Memorial Day because people are out of school or just about to get out.

My friend was supposed to work on the train yesterday, but when he got to work, they put him on Iron Wolf. So it's obviously not about staffing. It must be down or something.

Or there are not enough people in the park to justify having it run.

The railway will continue to open Memorial Day Weekend like every year and it will not run during Fright Fest. It is simply not a priority to have it open then.

Yesterday, I did see the Train. It was in the Tunnel that is by Demon. It was just sitting there. There was no one around, so I am not sure what it was doing there.

^ I saw that to, but don't they have a nice heated shed on the other side of the park? I know when I worked at the park, the engines were stored in the building during the winter. There is a pit and everything, which allows the workers access to the underside of the loco's.

Are they not doing that anymore?

For the record, they told my friend he was working the train on opening day. It must be down.
