Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I hope the 4D attraction isn't UpCharge, as they offer a 3D theater, and the SSA for free. Meh.

pretty sure they only hold a single person or small group, so if it's not upcharge you better be ready for one hell of a line.

It is in fact April 24th. But the discussion we were having was maybe the park is holding it's Private Events on April 17th-23rd.

I am hoping that there will be some major snow storm mid April
That will make a fun opening day!

This year's Advocate day is the 17th!

Last year was so cold. Riding the rides without gloves was torture.

What is the parking situation like? Can you choose front or back lot or do they make everyone park in the front lot?

I think the private event has free parking in the front lot. I'll be sure to pound this forum with construction updates and a PTR.

When you purchase tickets to these private events, it includes parking, so everyone will be parking in the front lot. They don't have separate pricing for these events for the lot.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I'll be there as well. I'll be making a trip report similar to the 4-19-2008 I made.
