Nice! At this rate, it will be ready by..July, maybe?
I think it's that time of year again. As we all know, SFGAm's time honored tradition is to open attractions months after the season has already started. It's something Shapiro promised to change, but hasn't even attempted to try to change.
So, let's start making predictions on the opening day for the Little Dipper! What do you all say? Person who gets closest to the actual opening date gets to be put in charge of construction for SFGAm's next coaster addition.
I'm going to go with June 3rd as my prediction. I know, I know..I'm probably being too optimistic, but that's my guess.
Six Flags had no prior planning of getting The Little Dipper. Coasters are usually planned at least one year in advance, and you want them to start Dipper construction in the winter?! They got the coaster in Early January! They're lucky they got a warm March to get a head start.
^It's not just that there was no planning. It has to do with the fact that laying Cement footers is not easy in the winter. This is Why Buccaneer Battle was not done on time.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
Currently the second story down has 2 or 3 scrolling pics of Little Dipper Construction that I dont think I've seen before. Looks like a lot of new lumber, and making decent progress.

It's the beginning-early April, and they've already got most of the ride, or at least the "lower track" laid out, all they need to do for that now is get the track on.
I would consider this the best addition we have installed for familys along with bucaneer battle. I dont consider DKC a family ride. What 5 year old kid wants a creepy clown laughing at him, sounds of shooting, and almost getting run over by a truck?
