Those pizza lunchables are very expensive. It must be for all the fat, sodium, and packing that goes into making them. I know there is way too much of each of those.

I know this is an ancient topic, but I felt like making one about food, but found this. I need to add to my previous post. Plus, with another season gone by, our opinions may have changed.I also love cheese-on-a-stick!

Hmm..isn't the topic "Favorite place to eat" allready going and has more posts?Anyways, the two items of food I purchsed all year one was from County Fair Funnel Cakes (if that is what it is called) and firehouse pizza. Wendies or McDonnalds suits me fine! Last year I ate Churroes (spelling?) by the handfull!THIS TOPIC IS LOCKED! (J/K, I'm not a moderator, nor do I pretend to be)

Yea I like Firehouse and I eat it practically every time I go. They serve the best pizza in the park and I always get a blue rasbery sno biz. I used to eat at the spaggheti place across from batman, but I like firehouse better. I also eat at fiesta fries and fagitas a lot.

Hey, Travis, you yell at others when the dredge up the ancient topics, so do we get to yell at you when you do it? J/KAnyway, I love Crazy Buffalo Saloon, because I love BBQ sauce... and I love the fact that you actually get free refils on your drink.Speaking of drinks, were you aware that you can ask any vendor that sells drinks for a glass of water, and they are required to give it to you? They just don't advertise it, otherwise they would never sell any bottled watter. But the park doesn't have enough water fountains to meet code, so they have to give out water. It's a good compromise for those of us who want to eat in the park, but balk at spending $4 for a stupid Coke!

Oh yeah, I knew about that... I get ice water practically every time I go (well, when it's hot at least). It's good and cold, and nice because you can take it into line with you.

I allways get the free water. I really liked crazy buffallo saloon, but I dont like paying that kind of money for a berger. It was good and all, but our park alone has higher food prices than any other park I have been to in the six flags chain. The waitor told me the prices were lower there than in the rest of the park, but I didn't know I had to pay tips until after I ordered my food  . Lol, I ended up spending 14 bucks or so on a burger and fries.

Lol, one time my mom gave my brother had $50 when he went, and my mom counted his money, and when he came home, he had nothing left. He spent all of his money on dippin' dots and dare devil dive. He was there for about 6 hours or so and he spent all his money on that stuf, then told my mom he had a cheeseburger so she didn't get as mad.

By my estimation based on visually walking around the park, I count roughly 26 water fountains in the park. You are telling me that isn't enough to meet code?

No, it's not.... # of fountains is based on capacity, GAm wasn't required to have as many water fountains when it was built, but over time, the code has changed, and now they have too great a capacity for the number of water fountains.

Not Every Vender Gives FREE Water away. The ones that do are the ones who sell Soft drinks from the Tap and do not sell bottled water. Also, I doubt that there is some code with how many water fountains you need. They have fountains by every restroom. I think they give free water as a courtesy for there guests.Carlo

An exact number? I couldn't say. But my father is an architect who is farmiliar with building and health codes, and according to him, as well, there is no way that most theme parks today meet those standards. I mean, look at it this way, an average shopping mall has between 10-15 fountains, as does a school. Capacity in these buildings are about 4,000. Average daily attendance at Six Flags parks is around 25,000, give or take. Capacity is far greater than that. To meet the code, GAm would, to the best of my knowledge, need around 75-100 fountains, which it doesn't have.

Actually, any vendor that has soda taps gives away free water. EVEN if they have bottled water on their menu.

Are you kidding me? It's part of the building code for any public place. They would not do it just for a courtesy, they loose money on it. Six Flags gives away water because they are required to!Now, let's end this pointless debate. This is all I was trying to say: FACT: You can get free ice water from any vendor with the soda taps.

I agree with you on that, I have always wondered why people would buy the bottled water when you can get a big free cup of ICE Water. Although sometimes the water out of the soda taps tastes a little odd... :?

Well, lets look at your options.Pay for bottled water, no strange flavor.A bit odd, and free.Disgusting, and warm. Free.I'll take the second option. As long as they put enough ice in (which they always do,) you can hardly taste anything.

I've never noticed anything strange about the water you can get in a cup. Tastes just like water you'd get out of a water cooler.

Not everytime, usually the water tastes fine. There have been a few occasions where the water tastes really bad.
