Nothing new really was said on anyone's behalf. SFGAm was probably the most informative presentation if alittle flat. Little Dipper will open in June they hope. The station will look the same and as of right now they don't plan on changing much on the ride. It will get a PLC (aka safety system) and keep the handbrake, however it may not control the brakes directly from the sounds of it. It will be in Looney Toons National Park but the entrance will be in Yukon Territory. Games Gallery is being totally refurbished with a new 4-D, I mean unspecified attraction(that upcharge thing that SF agreed to buy several of). Finally County Fair Food Court (formerly Farmers Market) will be refrubished and a really huge shade structure will be built in front of it. I think it looks pretty fugly, but that's just me. It will be really nice though for people eating there. Last and I think most importantly, as it's been desperately needed for at least the past 10 years, the entire entry area in Carousel Plaza will be repaved with new concrete. There are other rather minor details I'll let other's fill in.
We were done with amusement park presentations before lunchtime, not counting Schlitterbahn Waterpark at the very end, where Jeff Siebert proved yet again that he was bred, born and raised to do Public Relations.

Being all Dr.ish here, but did you notice that when Damen Nelson talked about Wolfies trains and the support he used the same laugh and facial expression. I have a feeling that We're still getting those trains.
I don't understand why it can't be up (Little Dipper) on opening day. The ride isn't huge. I think it's rather that they don't want to open it up so they don't have to staff that area until June which to me doesn't make sense because you are (the park) trying to revitalize that area. Of course, the park is going to hide anything they have. To me, an event like this is just some PR speiling stuff on information you can already find elsewhere, and you can buy stuff. They want to make money you know. Yet it's something ride related, and sometimes during winter you just want to hear about because it's something.
I'm kinda of amazed that they have this event in this area only. I kind of think the Cedar Point area they would get more people than around here. Think of how many enthusiasts just love that park the most.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
I think 6 mo. for a small woodie is perfectly normal.
