This is the STUPIDEST most idiotic idea EVER. I don't know where Shapiro gets this junk. Sure, we're going bankrupt, let's charge $30 for a haircut, because you can play a video game while getting your hair cut! Thank's but I like my $13 haircut at Great Clips. Whoever was supposed to fix Mr. Six's voice epicly failed.
I don't understand what this has to do with theme parks, but if they're making extra money then why not? it seems fun for kids and I actually think humorous people and teens would go here, but probably not as their main hair cutting place.

This place looks pretty crazy to me right now, but when I was 8 years old I'm sure I would have loved it. At that time I was just starting to get interested in roller coasters, and to get my hair cut at a roller coaster "themed" salon would have been awesome.
^Relax, this has been around for over a year and from what I remember, Six Flags doesn't own these salons, they are just renting(licensing) out their naming rights kind of like Warner Bros licensing out the Looney Tunes characters to Six Flags.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
^But they are not doing anything. All they did was get paid for the chain's name. No work involved there. Also, they get to make money off the ticket and season pass sales from the place.
It's $25 to get a shampoo, cut, and blow dry. It's $21.99 for shampoo and cut (so they'll let you leave with wet hair? ouch!) While the kids get their hair shampooed they lie down and watch a virtual roller coaster ride on TV (like in queue lines). After the haircut, a girl can mix their own body lotion, shampoo, or bath salts for an extra $7.99. It seems like a pretty dumb idea to me, and expensive too for what it's really worth.
They have places inside Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Park where kids get makeovers. Depending on which package you get, a girls makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is between $50-$200.
^The good old Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Pirates League. I honestly thought it was a rip-off but every kid I've seen there with them loved it. Pure joy is well worth the money.
Can't forget the barber shop on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom.
Sorry to bring back a really old topic but I just saw Six Flags got rid of rollercoaster cuts. The rollercoaster cuts website, which I linked below, shows that its out of business.
With all of these budget cuts new management is making, is it possible that they might close down any of the parks in the chain as well (cough SFA )? It seems like there going to some far lengths getting out of debt. Just a thought.
The chance of Six Flags closing down a park is pretty much absolute zero. Now maybe they'd sell a park that they think is under performing. Another Astroworld though is extremely unlikely.
