The ride still has a line on most days, so apparently most people don't notice or care. If they haven't fixed it after an entire off season (having stopped working last season), they're probably not going to fix it.

Exactly, even if people did complain about it, they will still ride it. After riding the other Impulses and holding brake doesn't do much at all. The only thing I miss about it is the sound it made...even as far away as Speedway.
I am starting to think it was disabled due to sound complaints from the homes/businesses surrounding the park. That thing was loud!
That wasn't that loud. It's loud while you're riding, but on the ground you can hardly hear it. Not to mention V2 is in the middle of the park and I don't think the LIMs can be heard unless you're within close range in the park.
The ride itself is just hard to sit through at the station till u go on and off it. One of the reasons I don't care for V2 that much. I have hope they fix it though for next season as how much can the parade cost? 1 million?
Honestly does one secdond really matter all that much?
Deja Vu flashback: According to the guys running the Silverwood forum and knowing a few fans of the park, Aftershock DID have issues this past season and they were surprised it was actually running during October
^Silverwood knows what they are doing know (more then Six Flags did).
When I was there every time there was a problem, it was fixed instantly. And they actually have maintenance workers on the ride at all times which helps a lot.
Not worth for all that trouble still...that ride is cursed why would u pay 4 million for a ride that required non-stop standby guys to fix it when it goes kaput?
Im actually kinda glad the brakes didnt work. At least the lines went faster due to those couple of seconds the ride didnt brake lol Mod Edit: Cleaned up post, please use correct grammar.
It would have to be asked about for them to address it. It depends who they send, the people there may not know, but if it's a concern someone should ask it.

I'm sure some won't be operating. Opening weekend usually has 1-2 rides always down and the rest usually have one train off track at least so why should it be different a week before.
