Internships?

Are you able to be an intern at six flags. I dont hav ea whole lot of info but if anyone else does that would be appreciated!

in order to be an intern at six flags you need to have a job in the deparment you want to work in i'm guessing rides and then you must get promoted to a leadership position and you can become an intern

Start by getting a job at the park. If you like the job, go to school for Hospitality Management, if you like both, go intern at the park.

Check the Six Flags website later in the winter. They normally post internships for the next season sometime during the offseason.

There are much better internships available at other theme parks..I advise you look around and not settle with Six Flags

Six Flags does offer internships in different areas even if you are not already within the company (actually they might prefer that). Having completed the rides internship in 2008 I can say that it was probably one of the most educational and fun things I have done. You get amazing hands-on leadership experience, you get to meet awesome people who will become lifelong friends, and you get to "sample" a day in other departments to get a broader view of what goes in to running a theme park. I would highly suggest this internship to anyone that is seriously thinking about staying in the theme park industry, or those that want an amazing leadership experience. Keep looking on the website, they usually post how to get in contact with someone for the internships. If you give Six Flags HR a call I'm sure they can give you plenty more information.
