No Dave, the money is coming from the Shockwave when they rebuild it over I-90 or wait was that rebuilt over Lake Michigan, no no, thats the 700 foot tall floorless... :roll:People really need to stop lying on the boards to sound important.Tim Black told that to me personally in a conference call today in fact

Galvan, I agree with you. People always want more. Look at the past 3 years. V2, DeJaVu, and Superman were brought in and still people want more. We have reached the point where people expect the park to add a BIG ride every year, when it is just not possible. People should realize they can't go to that many parks in the USA with a variety of coasters like Great America. Be happy with what the park gives us.

Couldn't agree more soxman. SFGAm has possibly the best variety of coasters out there right now. Just because certain parks have more doesn't mean the variety is the best. This coming from a person who has frequented the park since day one, I remember when 3 coasters were in the park and people were happy with that. Now we have 11 (12 if you count AE twice), and people complain about it. It makes no sense.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

They already have way more than most GP can ride in one day.And ShockWave would be any Gm's worst nightmare, they couldn't get anyone to ride it later in the day (except us of course) and with an accident that would cost a ton of money to repair, the best choice would be....dum dum dum.

Here are the four I came up with:Winners CircleTurbo BungyDare Devil DiveThe WallIf you are picky, you could count more than four because of all the VR spots in the park and the Haunted Houses.I am just going off the 2003 Park Map and GuideDave beat me.

You can use that if its true  . If you want you can call him up at corporate to ask him about Tim Black.People dont need to lie about anything on these boards. One lie will lead to another. Its like the boy who cried wolf story. Eventually no one will believe you anymore. (not addressed to ayone specific.)People always ask for more because there are parks like SFMM and CP. Yeah its nice to get new rides but it isnt necessary. You need to go to those parks a multiple number of days to get on all the coasters. Sometimes youy even have to do that at SFGAm. More isnt always better. SFMM cant even operate all of their rides the way they are meant to. They always have a lot of rides closed down. I dont think anyone wants SFGAm to turn into this, I know I dont.

The Da's are not lieing you just dont want to believe anything. Every time we post something, all of you have to jump on us like wolves. When most of you say stupid sh*t that you may not think is dumb, we dont make a scene and critisize you if we think it sounds stupid. If your source that you trust tells you something, and you really beleive it, but then somebody starts telling you it's all b.s., it gets annoying. When we say someone tells us something, it is a fact that they say it. We aren't lieing. But if the fact what they say about a new ride is true or not, isn't any more true then what you and your homosexual source may say until a press release or construction starts. So shut the hell up all of you.

Ok, you aren't liars, but you're still full of it. You've lost your reputation, you can not recover. You stated too many fallacies for anyone to believe you two anymore. Also, people's source's sexuality has nothing to do with anything, so why bring it up? Unless you're insecure with your own.

Wow...DaChillin. You need to take a hint from your screen name and chill out! I second exactly what Travis said... It's too late to recover. Sorry if what you guys say is true, but it's just way too hard to believe. By the way, your "homosexual" comment is taken offensively by me. That's not needed in a (generally) friendly community like this.

I agree with you sfgamfreak4life about the magic mountain thing. They have had the same flats in rehab for years. They can barely run any flats.. Now superman and deja vu are closed, and they are running x only on wednesday. Even goliath can only run one train now. That park needs to catch up on maintenence very soon before it gets worse.

I also think people are always asking for more is because the park isnt REALLY gaining more. they take a ride out to put one in instead of expanding....i guess :)

X isn't open just on Wednessdays anymore and Goliath has 2 trains running. S:TE is only going to be closed down a month or so for a much needed rehab. Just thought I'd clear that up.

I think that him being around isn't going to bring diffrent types of coasters in in. SFGAm regardless of what the general manager really wants is guranteed a new coaster every 2 years because of us being the #3 park in the Six Flags Inc. chain. But he will in my opinion probably do a good amount of work around the park. I don't know though because through looking at pictures of SFGAdv, our park just looks better overall.
