Me: Which rides are operating for Fright Fest? Her: All as usual. Me: So that means Chang is running? Her: No Sir Chang is no longer operated at our park. Me: Do you know where it will be operated? Her: No but all I know is that Chang's train cars were shipped to Illinois. Me: Thank You!
^ there's only one park in Illinois that could actually use the trains
(sings)If you want to be my Chang-y, doesn 't matter if your black or white, or brown, or blue, or green, or red, or orange, or mauve, or yellow... 2010 trips- Dollywood, SFGAm, maybe SoCal
Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Online championship round of the TFC is underway. Goodbye Chang! hope many more people get to enjoy you at your new location next year. (Facebook)
I want Chang, hope we get it, but there are some doubts I have about getting it. Hopefully people living around our park can check out and see if the park got the trains.

Don't be to skeptical... the TRAINS were shipped to Illinois, but that doesn't mean that the ride isn't going to follow soon. Here's my view:
1. Trains are headed to Iron Wolf. 2. CHANG is headed to Great America 2011 after the removal of SSA and moving of Winners Circle. 3. For the 2012 Season we will be losing the beloved, Raging Bull to make room for a Stratacoaster!

My thinking is that KK will get it to fill up the loss of Chang. It's approaching 11 years old. Yet again, if Six Flags ANNOUNCES that it's leaving, like what they did with Whizzer, they've got a problem.
Seriously...the only reason why they are removing Chang for a water park is because they want to turn the park into just a water park. They will make more money by removing Chang and adding a water park then by keeping it.
Our park is the opposite. They make there money from the Amusement park. They WOULD NOT get rid of Raging Bull for the water park. There is no reason for it and would not make them money.
If they wanted to add onto the waterpark, they could just add to the part that is left of the waterpark (basically the parking lot). Chang is being removed because SFKK is a junk pit, and it's one of the rides that isn't old, and probably would benefit another park. Waterparks are cheaper when it comes to putting in attractions rather than roller coasters. They wanted to sell SFKK before remember (well according to rumors, but it makes sense). Think of another thing what they did with Kentucky Kingdom. Jay Thomas was a PR guy there, and Six Flags knew it's a junk pit, so why not send him to Magic Mountain which isn't a junk pit. They knew he could help a non-junk pit like Magic Mountain compared to SFKK.
Move the goods out of the junk pit (Chang), don't fix them (Twisted Twins, there Splash Water Falls), or destroy them (Rainbow, Intamin Generation Drop (because of reasons), that Vekoma upside down sort of King Chaos ride). I have been to that park before, it was pretty bad, but at least they had the Chance Chaos. Well, now they don't have that, and Chang is gone. Why would I even go back there? Blizzard River is my favorite rapid ride, but I'm not going for that ride all the way there.

Where do you get your info?!
Sounds fishy to me

Do you think Six Flags is really that stupid!!!!! Really, you were better off saying for them to get rid of American Eagle. You know you're going to get flamed for saying that. Batman can be 30 years old and it's not going anywhere or raging bull.
Raging Bull just turned 10 and it is still the parks most popular ride. There are 3 rides on the chopping block for future additions:
#1 Whizzer #2 Demon #3 Iron Wolf
Yes Wolf will be safe if it does get the new trains but that doesn't mean suddenly everyone will be riding it more. How do you market new trains on IW? Demon and Whizzer are family friendly but $$ talks more than families and upkeep on those two is a huge budget drainer. Sometimes, rides just reach their peak and it is time to say goodbye (Splash Water Falls, Shockwave, etc.)
A rehab would be nice since we know that amerieagle is basically irreplacible because of the height thing

^In my opinion, no it doesn't. Texas Giant in my opinion again is the roughest worst coaster I've been on. To me, Mean Streak is absolutely nothing (That's not rough in my opinion) compared to Texas Giant. American Eagle I don't think needs a rehab, but you either like that ride or not. That ride isn't rough (American Eagle).

It is loud and rackety...Spelling...For 28 years old it could be worse but a rehab doesn't mean it is terribly painful but it does deserve some new landscaping and paint
Back on topic: Nowhere does it say a ride, new ride, HAS to open by opening day. Winters are rough though in Illinois I don't know it seems so long till the 2011 season for Chang to already be going down.
Well, Serial Thriller was at Great Escape for 4 years, from 2005-2009, and not till a couple weeks ago did they start moving the pieces to La Ronde. So Chang could be in storage until further future years...
