Dark Knight/ Cajun Vampire/Unknown Iron Wolf/ Chang
The General Public Can't Be This Stupid. I Hope.
IF Chang is going to SFGAm and Iron Wolf is staying, the thing that would separate this from the whole Dark Knight/ Rajin Cajun thing is that Chang is actually a really cool coaster. People were disappointed about DK because it was a rather tame ride and didn't live up to expectations. Chang would be fully visible, and even GP would have an idea of what to expect. This would most likely get a good reception at SFGAm, but of course there will always be some skeptics/pessimists.

For the people that say these people are dumb for putting in maybe 2 stand up coasters in a park, this is the park that hasn't figured out since 1992 to be a metal railing between front row and other rows on Batman in the line where the yellow line that no one cares about on the floor is, but yet they announce it every 10 minutes. This is the company that when they had Deja Vu didn't realize hey let's put some more queues in the station so we don't have to pay another worker, and so when we don't have a worker, people don't feel like a canned sardine. The same thing is for Viper. It's the boss who doesn't experience a day in line (sneak me up the exit), and just listens to the operation managers. Well, if Batman the Ride has been running for 17 years without a seperation between front row and other rows, what do you think the managers are going to say? They are going to say everything is just perfect.
First, how do you want Superman to check the restraints? They go down the train and check the restraints like every other coaster.
Second, are you really upset with the park for not adding a queue rail in the Batman tunnel? There is no need. The problem is that people sit at the entrance to the Batcave and they don't move. 99% of the time they aren't waiting on the front row. They just aren't pay attention or they are trying to decided which row to go in. Trust me I have tons of experience operating that ride.
Third, having queue rails in the station doesn't stop people from feeling like a "canned sardine". If you have ever been to SFMM and waited in a full RR station you would know queue rails wouldn't change anything. The point of having a grouper at the Deja Vu Station is to placed people in every available seat to reduce the wait and to prevent 2 people from waiting in a row that only had one seat. The reason why Viper has a grouper is now for "Flash Pass" and so that the station does not fill up because it will get extremely hot.
Actually... It would be 1 in 18? (I think that's the number of Six Flags currently.) If they bring back the ride rotation program. Which would result in roughly a 5.5% chance of SFGAm receiving Chang.
A hint someone gave me lol Viper was painted... then X2 came up DejaVu was painted... then terminator came up Sky Trek Tower is being painted... does that mean something new, close to it will be built? I could be wrong but Chang fits there, and STT is next to it, they paint STT, so it looks nice next to it... STT being painted blue... Bizzaro is blue matches a coaster next to it? maybe? matches the theme? I can be wrong just some thoughts Also if Chang was there, it would balance that side of the park, more crowds there
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!

For number 1, it's so darn obvious. Superman Ultimate Flight is a very, very long in length train. Instead of checking every row 2 by 2 for every worker, 1 worker should check 4 people per row (Of course, each worker would get multiple rows.), and than the workers don't have to walk so much. Walking equals wasted time! It works fine on other coasters because they aren't so darn lenghty. Superman is so much more lengthy because each row goes up, and the cars are pretty wide compared to Raging Bull, Whizzer, Demon, and so on.
For number 2, the problem is that people block in the middle of the line. They straddle the yellow line, and don't move. Thus, no one else can get through. You put a metal rail there, people are forced to make a decision (oh my), and choose where they are going without the blocking. For Iron Wolf, it's these people are waiting for front, and the rest of the people don't go past them because they don't understand that the left side is front. Put a rail there. Nope, too cheap nevermind.
For number 3, there is a picture on flick.com, and it show Riddler's station, but I don't see any lines going back and forth. I have been on that ride, but I there weren't many people in the station when I was on it. The best example of what should be done is something like the River King Mine Train at St Louis. The station (the station is really the whole line) you just go back and forth the whole time, and than there is a turnstyle, and an area for people to go into rows. Yes, I think that could be a little better with a little more room, but that is great in my opinion. I think stations shouldn't be that large. I think Demon is an almost perfect station. It's not that big, and I think Batman is pretty good, but if it wasn't for people blocking the entrance for rows 2-8, it would so much better.

^ I would not use the River King line as an example. It, along with Screamin' Eagle have awful que lines. If two groups want, lets say, the last row on River King, it blocks the entire walkway to the rest of the rows. Same with Screamin' Eagle as I've seen the front row block people to the point where the line was 30 minutes and 1/2 the train in empty.
WHY THE HELL ARE YOU BRINGING UP SUPERMAN?!? This thread has zero again, zero to do with S:UF.... Let me recheck the title again.... hold on...........nope nothing to do with S:UF, Please stop bringing up S:UF.
Keep your eyes peeled. Where ever that shows up in the next few days is more than likely where everything is going. Unless of course they go into refurb in which case they'd be shipped off to Switzerland, though if that was happening they'd be in a cargo container rather than on the back of a flatbed.
There is one hint in that pic though, that truck is a daycab. no sleeper, so it's probably not going that long of a distance. Probably less than a day's drive.

^ They do have the Ohio plant that makes the parts for refurbishment if needed. I would guess they are going there, but a park is another option. Only time will tell.
Wasn't the point though if it comes here, it could be for Iron Wolf, and Chang could get a new train that could be sitdown, or floorless? They could if they wanted to, send the roller coaster portion to SFOG, and get sitdown, or floorless trains for it.
I don't understand why they would tear it down this year in order for it to go up in 2011. To me, if it's going up in 2011, why would they take it down? Also, remember that groundwork is the thing that takes the most time. So, even if Chang came over in Jan of 2011, they would still be able to get it up. It's all about placing footers, changing elevations, pipes, and so on. The roller coaster (physical roller coaster) doesn't take that much time compared to the ground stuff. That takes a lot more time.
I'm just wondering if this ride is going up in 2010 because why as someone said is there no Area 51 where Space Shuttle America is. Are they going to take out Space Shuttle, and Go-Karts this year? They are also painting Sky Trek Tower which is what someone said about them painting Revolution when Tatsu came at Magic Mountain, or painting Deja Vu when Terminator came. It's in order to enhance the area so Sky Trek Tower doesn't look all rusty.

If the trains end up here, the ride will probably follow. The only reason to get new trains for Chang would be if it was going to a park that already had a stand-up and no floorless. The only two SF parks that fit that criteria are SFGAm and SFOG. If it went to a park that doesn't have a stand-up, there would be no reason to change trains.

Very good observation

looking closely, I think we may be in for a surprise with our parade

as a response for many posts up, the ohio plant doesnt deal with trains. The trains are still made overseas. The plant in Ohio only produces structural steel. Complex mechanical parts I believe still come from Switzerland including the station track, bottom and top of the lift hill, trains and other stuff like that.

This is exciting! keep a look out for this. Everything on screamscape has seemed legit so far. They said MOA was getting a Euro Fighter, they said we are getting a slash battle, and they said chang was bieng dismantled. Right so far! I think we will get chang, or a least its trains, if screamscape got its sources confused. I hope it's the whole ride though!
When I was out at the park tonight, I did ask a few park employee's what their thoughts were. While anything a park employee says should be taken with a grain of salt, my point here is the general word going around the park appeared to be the same. Again, if its true or not is another matter.... so keep that in mind.
Most of the ride op's I spoke to had good feelings that the trains would be showing up sometime this weekend at our park, to be used on Iron Wolf in 2010.
Where things get a bit mixed is where the coaster may end up (at our park, or somewhere else), and if at our park, where it would go. The two places that most people have already posted here were mentioned (SSF / Go-karts or SWF/SWT).
I did take a ride on Iron Wolf to try to get a look at the employee parking lot, but it was to dark to see if any of the flatbeds had arrived. Knowing that STT may be open during FF this year, it may give us a viewing point into the employee lot from the air to see if/when parts start to arrive.
I know I will be out on 10/03 for the ACE event, as well as 11/1 (and probably a few days in between). So, if I see anything of note, I'll try to take pictures, and pass them along.
Discussion about Riddlers Revenge station? Yay I can spam a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGicyMlWzfw What makes it worse is that the lockers and flashpass integration are at the bottom of the stairs before the station, but you can always count on them epically failing.
