^ No evening ERT at the ACE event on 10/3/09. Just morning ERT on Viper / Bull. There are a few other cool things, like a meet and greet with the cast from LAFF, as well as a behind the scenes tour of the Mausoleum of Terror.

You still have time to register for the event, but it has to be postmarked by 09/23/09.

You can download the flyer here.

There was one lady in Triple Play that was so darn hot. She was on the dark side type of person dressed up. Than, there used to be in the kiddie area these hot prinesses. :D I think they got rid of them though. :( Daphne for Scooby-Doo is another hot babe -er, but they don't have the Scooby train anymore. I think Scooby-Doo for the train did really good, but so it doesn't get stale just have a different mystery. There is also a hot school girl in Necropolis area.

I just saw on sixflags.com that Cell Block A is now additional fee required or did I misread something?

I can't be there this year, so I expect lots of pictures.

That is what the site says but i think it was like that last year for non pass holders(correct me if im wrong). I hope they change it to free for pass holders because if it is $5 i rather leave the park a little early and go to Dungeon of Doom or another nearby haunt that will be worth it.

I'll be at the park on Sunday, Sept. 27th. I probably won't be taking any pictures, but I will give a full trip report (as I do every year).

yeah hauntedillinois sent me the email or else i would not have known but yeah that new location actually does look kind of creepy. Realm of Terror and Xtreme Hauntings are also some other good haunts that i have been to up north.

Besides Necropolis what would you guys say is the next best scare zone and does anyone have any high expectations for this years event? It has actually been a while since i have entered MOT, has it changed at all because i think i may actually wait in that line again this year.

They need to hire some of the people who run HHN at Universal Studios or people who run the event at Knotts and make the event scarier so its more than just a time to llok at the same old/tired decorations while walking to ride another coaster.

I agree this would make the event better, however to pull off an event to the caliber of Halloween Horror Nights or Haunt they would need to make the event a separate ticket event.

^ is that what Oct 2nd is (FF Preview)? I ask as I took a picture of GMH back on 8-19 of the sign showing that LAFF would be back on Oct 2nd (Friday). Yet, the park is not open that day, it says "Private event" on the webpage. I did ask a few employee's, and they could not answer for me why it said LAFF would Premier on Oct 2nd if the park would not be open to the general pubic.

2377

Even thought it may run for the private event, I would think the park may get a lot of questions about that, and may have a few upset people showing up to the park on that Friday only to find out that the park is closed for a private event.

By the way, speaking of dates, the main picture on the homepage has last years dates on it for Fright Fest (Oct 4 to Nov 2nd). The proper dates should be Oct 3 to Nov 1.

Also, for those that did go to the park tonight, they did have a preview showing of LAFF in GMH at 9:15 PM. I did not attend, as I was riding Eagle, but did want to pass it along.
