You know the saying that everyday you see something new; well I kind of do see things new if I'm really looking for stuff.
Here's my list of just noticed stuff:
-For V2, I'm surprised I haven't seen this before, but it has the dates on the wheels. It said something like 2000 - 12 -2 for one of them. So, have they not changed the wheels since it was made, or have they bought so many of them? -There is a tiny green plastic piece towards the bottom of the cars for Batman the Ride. -Look at the Iron Wolf sign, and you will see that the right eye is different size wise compared to the left eye.
-For the waterslides (especially on the 6 tower slide, and Family Raft slides), you know they have a top piece, and a bottom piece that they put together. Well, there in the middle, they put bolts into it to put it together when they did that. Well, if you look at the middle part, it's not always aligned on some of them with the rest of them. This could be because of the supports, or they just messed up.

(sings)If you want to be my Chang-y, doesn 't matter if your black or white, or brown, or blue, or green, or red, or orange, or mauve, or yellow... 2010 trips- Dollywood, SFGAm, maybe SoCal
For the wheel thing. If the date is on the tire then it's probably still an original wheel/tire, if it's on the hub of the wheel itself, then that's an original wheel, though every wheel on that ride is probably an original wheel. Parks don't throw away wheels when they wear out, they send them out to be retreaded, where they scrape off all the old tire then mold a new one onto the old hub. Wheels are far to expensive to just discard.

You just reminded me something about the Demon. Right now, you go on the slides in the back of the park in Hurricane Harbor (4 tube slides complex), and you can take a picture of what it looks like a half V2, and half Demon loop. It looks so darn cool. I just noticed that. At one time when Deja Vu was up, you could take a picture of the Deja Vu loop outside the Demon loop, and than V2 in the middle of both of them going up to those same slides.
