That is actually a good idea and what most don't get is taking out the remains of SWF and putting in a small flat, some shops, theme for GAR (If they will keep it), a small pond with some trees and shrubs planted for extra relax area would cost VERY little. Probably cheaper than Dark Knight (7.5 million) and Buccaneer Battle (5 million).
I would say a nice flat is nice. Haha. But I would kinda want a thrill flat as a lot of people would. I would want some type of spinning thrill ride...or swinging..
SWF's spot would be used much better if a Coaster was there.....But the real disadvantage is that it's location is in County Fair. That would make it 4 Coasters that open later, AE, IW, Demon, and "The new one"
I'd like to see a steel coaster, but I'm still very unsure of what type.

They can always change the policy that County Fair opens at 11 or just exempt the new ride from it. So, what does everyone think? Hurricane Harbor expansion for 2010 or a new ride for SWF?
You could expect a Hurricane Harbor Expansion....But I think that the "SWF Hole" should be priority.
As I walk by it all the time, I can see how much potential is there, with GAR gone, there is so much space around there for theming! GAR was never too appealing to me anyway....and while waiting in line for eagle, the smell of the exhaust is annoying.

Although i'm not the biggest fan of Hurricane Harbor, I do think that they will make a Hurricane Harbor expansion because it's its 5th anniversary and is hitting capacity a lot during the summer. Plus, It could replace SSA and they could move the enterance over there possibly making people pass by the go karts and convincing some to race. I'm thinking Splash Water Falls will be empty for another year before we see something put in its place. To me, it's not really an eyesore, even if you do go on GAR. Also, I don't think that they will get rid of GAR because it's a family ride. They've already cut gas costs on that by only running one side most of the time.

If I had to make a guess based on what I've heard over the past few months, I'd have to say 2010 may include a large, new for us, non-waterpark attraction in and around SSA. Never know though, SF could run out of cash and not have the funds available to move our new ride here, or simply change their tentative plans, and next thing you know, Glow in the Dark Parade if that.

I still like Dark Knight...as do alot of people....
But back on topic, I'd like to see a HH expansion. Yeah, it'd be nice to see something put in the SWF place, but think about it.....more water rides/larger water park = shorter lines for coasters in the summer...
Have a take and don't suck, it's the Jim Rome Show!
We have been on the same big boys since 2003...whoc ares about lines a new ride will decrease lines on rides like Bull and Superman while V2 and Batman would be walk ons
