I'm going to guess it will stay empty for the forseeable future and beyond.

It's very hard to guess right now. I'd be sad if GAR got the boot.

I thought they would have put BB in SWF's spot because it already has some of the trough still there, maybe there was something wrong and that's why they didn't put BB in there.

^Look at it this way. Deja Vu's space was much more noticeable from the midway itself. It was a good way to take up the open space and leave future oppurtunities for the other spot.

I'd also hate to see GAM raceway go....isn't it still one of the rides that opened when the park did :(

Anyone else posted this a few months back and they would be crucified but whatever....It will probably be the next in-park construction job but if they do the Hurricane Harbor expansions first (no point in that whatsoever) it will be barren for at least 2 more years. Say it with me----Flat, Flat, Flat! They are able to fit a decent one in there and it would surely be less expensive then a new coaster.

I kinda think that this park needs some sort of woodie or some other type of launch. That is what I would want but I highly doubt it. It will probably just be the moving of the go garts into this area....?

I've been hearing rumors of the GAR kicking the bucket....Actually hearing that a lot lately.

^I have also heard American Eagle would have been history but it is still up. Same with East river crawler.

American Eagle? Pleez more of a chance Batman or Superman are taken out then AE---a park icon and what third oldest coaster. GAR is just useless in that space now and it along with go-karts need to be shown the door.

^ As much as i would love to see the go-karts go (or any other upcharge attraction in general) they make money. The company needs money, so they are here to stay.

American Eagle will never go down....we have Illinois Law to thank for that. Anyone remember that the distance from the highway used to be 100ft....now it's 300ft. So if Eagle were to be torn down, it wouldn't be able to be replaced due to the 300ft restriction. Luckily Eagle was built before they changed it to 300ft.

There was still that rumor a couple years back...no need to think that rumor never existed and I never said I beleived it.

AE going would be a terrible idea because I love Intamin coasters, wood or/and steel and AE was their first coaster ever made and was also their first woodie I guess.

Would rather have a coaster that runs more than occasionally.
