I was just met the worst ride operator I've ever met at Great America. The park was about to close in one minute as I was walking down the exit ramp on Raging Bull. There was no line so I went through the flash pass gate like I have been doing for the past FIVE YEARS. I ran up the stairs to the station and got in the gate for the last car. The people behind me said they did the same thing. A foreign ride operator was standing at the back operators panel, knowing I went through the flash pass gate. He walked right past me, opened the gates, waited for everyone to sit down, and checked the restraints. When he got to the last row he unlocked the restraints and told me I COULD NOT RIDE! As I was walking out, I saw the people behind me, who also went through the flash pass gate, get on the ride and leave the station. I was so pissed that this guy was picking on me. What happened to the ride operators who just want everyone to have fun? This guy should be fired, he is just mean.
There must be a reason why he did that, if he saw the others go through. If he didn't then he wasn't exactly picking on you, he just might have not seen anyone else.

^sorry about the title, but anyways, the part that drove me crazy was that he waited until I sat down and had my restraint locked to tell me that, even though he was standing next to me the whole time.
That could seen as a way of cutting going through the gate even though really there was probably no one there anyway. He just wanted to get home early probably. If you would have went to the front of the line, maybe you wouldn't have got on, and thus he didn't let you ride. Maybe he just noticed that you have been doing that while he didn't notice the other people.

Where the people in the last row those crazy people that cry if they don't get the last ride in the last row? They are always there. Once they got mad because they were waiting in the last row. We intentional waited right next to them. Well they thought there was going to be 2 more dispatches so they let us go in front of them. Well there was only 1 and they wanted us to go in another row. We ignored them sat down, and they looked at us wanted us to get up. And the wife (there a couple) got really mad and started complaining and almost looked like she was going to cry...there crazy coaster losers
If I see them more in the future...I am totally going to mess with them again

If that were true, he would have just let me ride, and not wait until the restraints were locked. If the policy is that you can't cut through the gate if they are selling flash passes, there should be someone in the gate to tell you that.

Maybe, the flash pass person was the person closing the line, and left. For the other guy, he probably saw you, and he didn't see the other people go through the flash pass line. What I mean by that is he wanted to go home early because he thought that you didn't go all the way around the whole line, but he thought the other people did. He could have singled you out because maybe you were alone. Maybe, you had some shirt that he noticed (bright colors), or something more noticable like a print. Thus, he didn't notice those other people.
They don't want you to cut through the flash pass line at the end of the day especially because they are trying to close the ride down, and if you would have went all the way around, you might have not gotten on the ride at all which means less people, and less cycles they have to run.
You said it was about to close in 1 minute.
Yes, the guy was mean because he could have just let you on because they probably weren't going to run anymore trains anyway with you being in line again, but yet I understand why he did that.
