Tournamet of Thrills

For everyone who hasnt seen it, 6flags' facebook is having a "Tournament of Thrills", 1st round (western) is Bull vs. Tatsu, so if you support Bull, vote for it and lets see how far we can get our hometown coaster.

I voted Tatsu, since my ride on Tatsu this year was really good and I haven't ridden Bull yet, so I gave it to that. Though X2 should win the whole thing.

I would vote Tatsu since thats a solid coaster and I LOVE magic mountain but bull is just... WAY BETTER!!

But.... on the other hand X2 puts them both to shame with its amazingness, thats gonna win it all!!

X2 is not the best coaster in the SF chain, or the second. Those spots are El Toro and Bizarro at SFNE's. Id put X2 third.

Except those two are matched up against each other in the first round, not really fair if you ask me.

^^Well X2 will always be my favorite, at least bizarro looks better then MF, nothing can be as overated as that.

After riding them all.
Bizzaro > X2 > El Toro

And Raging Bull sucks....Tatsu is so much better!

My favorite Six Flags roller coasters in the chain are : Deja Vu (still at Magic Mountain), Screamin Eagle (at St. Louis), La Vibora (at Over Texas), Mr. Freeze (either one), Batman the Ride (SFGAm, SFOT, SFMM, SFOG - not StL for me), Georgia Cyclone, and than Superman Ride of Steel (Six Flags America - Haven't been on the others).

I have been on the regular X, and I don't think that ride is the best in the chain. It's not even close. To me, it's like a 20 something ride. It's a great ride, but I think there are so much better. I can't say about Tatsu because I haven't been on it. For the worst ride in the chain (They would never do a poll about that), I would say it's Texas Giant followed by the Ninja at SFOG.

I have a feeling the mega coasters / hypers are going to win this type of stuff. To me, a lot of enthusiasts like these rides as number 1 type of rides. For roller coasters I've been on I say that Superman Ride of Steel (SFA) is number 9 out of the ones I been on. It's a great ride in my opinion, but it's not my number one. An enthusiast list might be 1. Superman Ride of Steel (SFNE), 2. Goliath (SFMM), 3. Expedition G-Force 4. Apollo's Chariot 5. Titan (SFOT) 6. Raging Bull 7. Superman Ride of Steel (Darien Lake) 8. Goliath (SFOG)

Of course though, I've only been to SFA, SFGAm, SFOT, SFOG, SFMM, SFStL, and SFKK.

Ha! Batman the Ride at Six Flags Mexico somehow made it in to the tournament?! It's a frickin' SLC! How does a coaster like that make it in?! If they had to pick a Mexican coaster why not Medusa or Superman el Último Escape??

Becuase medusa sucks, but yeah the superman down there is definetly better then an SlC.

I agree that Tatsu is awesome and one of the most powerful coasters ive been on, but there is no way its better then raging bull

Raging Bull beat Tatsu 66% to 34%

Next up is El Toro vs. Bizarro @ Six Flags New England. El Toro is winning 63% with 804 votes and Bizarro has 37% and 477 votes.

Your supposed to vote for the better ride, not the ride thats at your home park for the sake of voting for it because its at your home park. Raging Bull doesnt even compare to X2, I can guarentee you anyone who has been on both will agree with that.
