Official Buccaneer Battle/2009 Attraction Thread
Wow only about a month left!
13 Years with SFGAm World!
I'm quite shocked no one said anything yet about these things (that I can see) I'm going to say. The boats are in (6 of them) near Superman Ultimate Flight line, and it says it's opening May 15. They don't seem that big. One boat was like yellow and red, one was yellow and brown. I saw mostly yellow, red's, and browns. If I would have cared for this attraction more, I probably would have paid more attention.

^I did take pictures of the boats and some construction on my trip yesterday. Look for my trip report in a week or so.

Full picture of boats was posted.
From maintenance Dept. - the total 14 boats are being delivered and 10 being used at one time during ride operation.
This is good thing - this kept the ride at full capacity and just switch out broken boats for maintenance! Like the Dark Knight we were thinking 10 cars will used at same time and that didn't happen. It was only 6 to 8 being uses at one time and reduced capacity made longer lines! My question is Buccaneer Battle open at 10am or 11am with the rest of County Fair! We will see soon- opening in 2 weeks! Party all Night, Sleep all DAY!!!
My guess would be 11 since every other ride in County Fair opens around then.

How can one get to go to Media Day?
Its a new ride I would guess that its going to open at 10.
Remember, there's nothing but air beneath the chair.
actually, I'd expect it to open at 11 since it is part of county Fair....

I dont get the joke there, TDK's media preview went really well and chances are a lot more interest was generated from that one than will be for the slowest water ride in the park. Although I guess what im trying to say is people have to go to the park and ride TDK to think "lame" whereas people can just look at BB and think "lame"
 . I think this will be a good addition though, SFGAm filled a big void with TDK. They needed an indoor family coaster, the issue being they themed it to a movie made for teenagers/older crowd and did not market it as a family ride at all. At least people will see what their getting with this and can tell its a kids ride before waiting in a huge line for it.

^No, knowing Six Flags these little contests are fun things that are thrown together sorta last minuteish, so you might still get an invitation last minuteish.
