I rode The Dark Knight and I have notice that they have made some changes to the Theme of the ride. First I notice that they have built these black walls that go around the right side of the ride so that you cannot see the layout. Also, at the end of the ride they have added a new Themed Element.
I noticed that being added last weekend as it was not there the week before. It just seems like they have added 2-3 pieces of theming on the ride this year.
Right the same second you are about to break, there is this car and shakes violently with 2 clowns in it and flashes this BRIGHT! light! It was somewhat surprising because it was at the end. I also notice you cannot see the track as well as last year.
I am starting to like this wild mouse. The shorter the wait, the better it is

Where are these black walls? Are they by the zigzags? Are they throughout the entire ride?

Just wondering, but when to you go to SFGAm? I went on the 11th and never noticed those (if they were there). I did notice a couple more flashing lights focusing on some theming though.
13 - GateKeeper 14 - Millennium Force 15 - Enchanted Tales with Belle

It was the week after that they put it in. Scared the heck out of me and my friend actually liked the ride. I am starting to agree with him as the themeing is helping a lot.
I went last Saturday and it was there. I noticed the Black walls being installed on Opening Weekend. These black walls prevent you from looking to the right. The walls start just after you pass the burring Police station till the end of the ride.
How do black walls help? With them up, you are still going to see the track in front of you. The best they can do are clowns in a car. I don't mean to be a critic, but the story's end are two clowns in a car according to what you are saying. After the burning police station, you have the train being shot at, and than Batman coming with his motorcycle. Where is the fight with Joker, and Batman? Where is Joker at all in the whole thing?
For the ride itself, they need to move the Batman that's the first one you see so people don't have to look for him (They never notice him.). Where they are take your picture, they need to have Joker vs Batman. At the end of the ride, I think they should have Joker laying on the ground with Batman victorious. I think they are better off having some brakes in the zigzag part (closer to the billboard) so people can really look at the stuff they put there.
I didn't notice any black walls on opening day weekend.
It seems like they are just putting something at the end of the ride just because there is nothing.

when I went on the 11th there was the clowns in the car but it didn't shake or have lights. It was just sitting there. Also there is new grafitti on the walls on the ride. It is much darker probably because of thewalls keep light out
I didn't notice any black walls when I rode it Saturday, but I did notice they added a Train or Truck (whatever it's supposed to be) at the end right when you hit the brakes.

I didn't notice them either that day (The "Why So Serious" speaker was broken though ).
Well, the tv has yellow on it on the right side. Stupid flat screens!!

Yeah, you are right. I've seen the projector, but didn't realize that. I'm more used to thinking of projectors with classrooms, and screens where you can tell it's a projector rather than a movie theater, or this example.

After going on the Scooby-Doo ride at SF STL, I noticed the new van in the Dark Knight is the same as the bus in that ride. Only difference is the paint job and there are 2 henchmen put in the cab as opposed to a painted window. Wish I had a picture, but no go due to park rules. However, the bus in the ride is the same one in the que line. Here are two pics of the van from my webshots account:
