Did any one else notice that a few of the coasters were noticably smoother this year than last year? Mainly the Dark Knight, Batman, and Demon. These rides were way more enjoyable.
Dark Knight is brand new. Batman has always been smooth as far as I know. Demon Red has newer looking wheels but I doubt that changes anything, it didnt feel any smoother than last year.
Yeah, I thought most of the rides were about the same as last year, though Iron Wolf was significantly rougher. I rode in the front seat, and there is no getting around it, it beat the shit out of me.

Iron Wolf is a disaster and need to go. Viper and Eagle felt smooth and quiet but also slow. Demon has felt pretty smooth the last 2 years. I can ride the back car without a neck bruise. Batman, near the end of a hot day, can do a little head bashing on the last half but was very smooth on Friday. Ragin Cajun felt a little rough but I was stuck on the lift for 15 minutes and freezing by the time we started moving again.
I did notice that Iron Wolf was significantly rougher. I rode it alone since my boyfriend didn't want to go on, and when the ride was over, I decided that that was my last time on IW. I hope they get rid of it soon or something.
Ideally, I'd like to see them get rubber vests on IW instead of harnesses but, I'm not sure it's possible on a stand up. It's easier to fit a wider variety or torso sizes when sitting than standing. I've wanted IW removed for a long time but a large part of the enthusiast community doesn't want to see the first B&M gone. I hope they have something planned though because even on a crowded day, than line is really short. It's reputation keeps people off.
I didn't think Raging Bull was rough but the trim brakes were way severe. I miss the rides on media day for it when there were no trims. The airtime was amazing.

From what I gather, it probably was rougher because the trains weren't even close to being filled. Any coaster is a ton rougher when its empty then when its loaded. I would guess that it could contribute to any additional roughness their may have been.
Remember, there's nothing but air beneath the chair.
