I noticed that the 2009 redrawn park map is now on the six flags website at this link. http://www.sixflags.com/greatAmerica/info/parkMap.aspx I think it looks better than last years map and should make it easier for new guests to navigate the park.
Nice to see updated colors, more detail and makes it hard to notice the eyesore that is the old Splash site and what do you know they left SSA out. Best map ever.
-Space Shuttle isn't there -Iron Wolf and Giant Drop are red (Must not have been a brown) -No evidence of SWF remains -New Johnny Rockets and Cyber Cafe noticeable -Water underneath River Rocker? -Buccaneer Battle -Although unneccesary in my opinion, it's obvious that a sizeable HH expansion would fit well into the old SSA area. We'll have to wait and see.

Personally, I hope the map is incorrect. I hope that the water from Whizzer isnt connected to Buccaneer Battle to the log flumes, that's going to be some disgusting water.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
This is by far the best looking park map I have seen, and very accurate. I couldn't stand the 2004-2008 map with almost every building being brown. A few things I noticed, all very minor: Bull has 2 yellow trains Eagle has the red and blue trains on the wrong sides, and too close together (in the helix and going down the 1st drop) Purple cars on Raceway Demon has no entrance Bull's lift is way too steep, and the 1st turnaround is way too low
I wish Citigraph still did the maps, I remember back a long time ago (1995 and before) when maps were nice, and informative, and didn't look like they were scribbled by a preschooler with crayons.

Heres the break down on what water is connected to what. The Flumes pond is its own thing, Buccaneer Battle will be its own thing, Rapids is its own thing. Whizzer's pond connects to the creek behind Orbit (and used to connect to the creek by Deja Vu's line) then connects to the creek by BBNP and Mooseburger Lodge. The water by the Yankee/Yukon bridge is not connected to the flumes pond, there is a wall under the V2 bridge, and I have seen the Flumes pond dry while that water is still full.
Wow. Beautiful park map. Best one I've seen yet. I love the colors and the detail. It looks amazing. I could stare at it all day.
*Just got an idea* Since I'm in a drawing class now, and I like to draw obviously... I suddenly want to try drawing the map myself! That should be fun and challenging.

Honestly I think it will be eventually be used as a makeshift billboard along with Viper.
This is definitely one of the best park maps I've seen in awhile. The 2004-2008 maps were OK but kind of dull, and the ones before that looked like a first grade class drew it.
