Official Buccaneer Battle/2009 Attraction Thread

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I disagree with that. I would think a more well-themed sign would be put in similar to SF's sign perhaps?

Magic Mountain has a ride "memorial" and our GIB changed SFGAm forever. We should have something to remember it by since Silverwood took everything but the sign and the name Deja Vu.

That's what they should build in the SWF site. An SFGAm Museum!

They can put up food stands next to it make some money that way. Maybe it's because we don't have that many rides that have been removed or sold...look how few rides we have lost since the park opened in 1976. Not that many...

^^You got me but I was referring to the big rides like Shockwave, Z-Force, Rolling Thunder, etc. Great Adventure will probably get one and then us. In 2039. Seriously, I wanna see some SWF, Vu, Shockwave stuff!

Deja-Vu changed SFGAm forever?

Please. Not even close.

It's not even a bip on the radar. If you know the history of this park, you would know that this coaster doesn't even register.

Most of us here loved the ride experience of it, but as far as historic reference, it doesn't hold a candle.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

The problems associated with it made a huge impact on the park and the whole chain together. It went down as probably the most troublesome ride ever at SFGAm.

So What do people think about the People Dryer that SFGAm is getting?

I think that its a good idea (Even though I always go and dry off on V2)

P.S. 500th post!

I think it's a good idea but roaring rapids really needs one.

I'm guessing not free, but the one's I've seen hold about 4-5 people. At least in Europe where they've been using those for better than the past decade. Basically wait til someone pays for it, then jump in :)

The people dryers at Universal run some 3-4 bucks a use. Expect nearly the same here.

I think that from the other one in Dollywood i think it will hold 4-5 people and cost around $5.

Bull looks so lonely...if it wasn't for the snow you would think it was a regular day at the park and you could go on it tomorrow... :(
